I don't typically write poor reviews especially one for a place I have enjoyed going to in the past but something SERIOUSLY has gone wrong with this restaurant.The prices have skyrocketed and the portions are less than ever. The food is still okay but even that quality has diminished in a few short years.I came in there one day with my wife and there was only one waitress with a packed restaurant. She warned us ahead of time that it might be a bit of a wait because there was only one cook. That's fine. We don't mind to wait. But what really got us was that the owner of the restaurant was bouncing from table to table socializing with the patrons instead of helping his staff!!!We took this as maybe a one off and wouldn't happen again. Boy were we wrong.This appears to be the state of this restaurant now. We came in again last week after trying several times (the store was closed when it should have been open.... gee wonder why??)And just like before there was only one waitress and one cook.What is going on here??? The owner needs to step in and take care of his business or the restaurant will likely be shut for good before Christmas.The staff that I saw are friendly and sweet. We love talking with Tammy and the younger dark haired girl. But we can see that they've got a lot on their plate trying to take care of everything while the owner sits around and doesn't care!!I wouldn't go here again until there is a change in ownership or he smartens up. I'm not the only one who has seen the decline in the business here and I know I won't be the last one.

1st time visiting here. The food, service and atmosphere was good. Great beer and spirits. Next time we go will be when they have live entertainment. Looking forward to that.
I had the seafood chowder which was the consistency of mud, and the clam strips were frozen prepared. I was looking forward to home cooked style dinner, but this was frozen/prepared food.

Just finished a delicious meal at this unassuming pup. The service was very friendly, efficient and helpful. The beer was cold and delicious. We has fish and chips which was fresh and extremely tasty, and the hot turkey which was just like the classic of old. We noticed other’s orders of wing and burgers and everything looked to be of generous proportions. There was a soloist guitar player and she was fantastic! We stayed an extra hour just to hear her finish her set of originals, folk, country, and classics. The pup was clean and pleasant. There was ample parking and I would say that the place was handicap accessible ( not sure about the washroom). The prices were extremely reasonable. A very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I recommend and I will be back.

If you are a person who values how employees are treated by employer, do not go! Our experience was great food and really good server..However the young server was run off her feet, serving approximately 30 people, both food and drinks, and taking their payment on a really warm day! During this whole time the owner sat and talked to 4 patrons. While we were eating our dinner, the phone rang constantly with the server grabbing it once. This server was probably being paid minimum wage. He did not show any respect for his employee or us customers sitting there listening to phone ringing..
