Great atmosphere in a beautiful resort

Fantastic service, was accommodated on our day trip when we stopped in with our dog for a quick lunch. They set us our own table in the common space and made sure we had everything we needed. I believe our server was Matt, checked with all of us for any allergies or sensitivitys well taking our orders and was sure to check on us after the first few bites. Highly recommend, food was delicious with a great attention to detail. Will be bac again

Ordered Togarashi spiced tofu dinner - worse dinner I have ever had, no spice what so ever. I had asked the waiter about the spice prior to ordering and he said it was spicy but not mouth burning. Jasmine Rice tasted like boiled quinoa. Tofu was a dried up little slab. The vegetables were soggy and oily. The other two in our party ordered the same meal and we all agreed it was terrible. Very disappointed in the meal.

Great experience! Super great server, Ruben! Quite a few gluten free options, and the gluten free bread for the club sandwich was on point! Good food and service for the price paid, it wasn’t outrageous as one might expect from the Algonquin!

Great experience.
Lamb was amazing, steak was also amazing. The restaurant is beautiful and the hotel grounds were really nice for an evening dinner, acouple bumps in the road with the wine selection but the restaurant made up for it!

People who don’t understand how google ratings work giving this place a 1 star when they have a delicious meal and service was great should sometimes be banned from the internet but that’s the world we live in.

We stayed at the resort so we had many meals at the Braxton. The restaurant matches the luxury of the hotel. The service and the food were wonderful. We had a sit down dinner in the dinning room and had service on the balcony for lunch. The flexibility made it easy to order from the pub or dinning menu. They do everything they can to make your stay easy and comfortable.

The worst dinning experience in my life. Do not eat here. Over 2 hours for our food to show up. Acted like it’s our fault. Terrible

Very mediocre food yet expensive. Avoid. There are much better restaurants in St. Andrews!

Don’t order the French onion soup. Very disappointed, did not have a beef and onion flavour and no melted cheese crouton on top.
It tasted like a bullion soup favoured with 5 spice.

Crossed the border and met some friends from NB for lunch. The staff and service was very good. The food on the other hand was mediocre at best. The fish and chips were very over cooked, dry and hard. The salad was nothing more than a bowl of lettuce and the chowder seemed like it was straight out of a can. No one in our party of six had anything good to say about the food. I expected much more, especially considering the cost. I have no plans to eat there again and would not recommend it. Very disappointed to say the least.

What a great spot. After our scary story telling tour, we decided to sit by the bar for drink. Well that was a great idea. We were entertained by Kyle and his mad bartending skills. We “might have” stayed for an extra drink or two. We had been bummed that our trip there was off season, but it turned out that instead of being outside we ended up at the bar and had a great night. We will be back!

I had lunch with my friend here. He had Bao fish tacos and I I had the crispy shrimp bowl. Both were delicious. Our server, Marty, gave us great service, and the manager Jillian was lovely, and kind.
