We stopped on our way back from PEI. Algonquin is a lovely resort, with service and amenities in the old-time style. Drinks were superb and the meals were delicious. Only issue was the singer in the adjacent lobby, who was a horrible singer. Wish she had just played the piano.
Délicieux, mais comme dans tous grands restaurants d'hôtel, un peu dispendieux, L'entrée de pétoncles était absolument succulente, mais le repas principal plus ordinaire, raviolis de homard, sauce assez liquide, et trop citronnée, Trop cher à mon avis
We had some great dinner at Braxton's yesterday. The food and service were excellent. We had the beet and goat cheese salad and a beef tenderloin + loaded baked potato along with a bottle of wine. All was excellent. The steak was perfectly done and the loaded baked potato was nice and moist. The salad was very fresh. Our waiter was especially excellent and recommended an excellent French pinot noir that was not on the menu.
