“I highly recommend visiting the gardens and the restaurant. We brought our family to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with tasty herbs, decorative edible flowers and fresh vegetables from their kitchen garden decorating our plates. We had guests with restricted mobility and the tour of the gardens on the golf cart was the way to go. Our guide was excellent. Along with her ability to point out plants, she incorporated stories and local knowledge into our tour. This was the perfect birthday gift for an 80 year old nature lover. Thank you! 🌲🌺🌳🌸🙏“

“We stayed at The Algonquin Resort for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed all aspects of the experience. The food was certainly a highlight.

We had an excellent meal at Braxton’s the evening we arrived but I really wanted to highlight the three breakfasts we had at The Passamaquoddy Veranda each morning. We tried al a carte once and had the buffet breakfast twice. Both experiences were top notch in terms of both food and service.

While I’ve seen larger buffet offerings it is certainly true that quantity does not equal quality. The buffet spread was more than sufficient and all the options were fresh and delicious.

We were lucky enough to have the same wait staff each morning and I’d like to give a shout out to Cristy for her friendly demeanor, great service and tips on what to see in the town.
