I haven't been to Deluxe in a long time and while staying in Saint John we decided to give it a try. It looks the same as it always has, but it wasn't dirty. The fries are the star here. Very good. I had the lobster roll and it was ok. It was legit lobster, which was good, but instead of it being mixed, they simply put a mayo style sauce on top, all on a hot dog bun. It's super expensive for such basic food. The food itself is fine, but they do have the advantage of being the only game in town if you want take-out fish and chips, and the portions of fish have gotten smaller every time we've been there. Good customer service, very friendly.
Local spot for fish & chips, burgers, and such. Interior of restaurant is dated and needs a refresh however, it is kept clean. Good specials from time to time. I have found this location to be consistent.
