“Had the buttermilk chicken and cashew salad last night, it was a beautiful salad and it was big enough for a meal. It was so delicious and I enjoyed every bite! The dressing was a peanut butter Thai. My husband had a goat cheese bacon burger and he enjoyed every bite as well. The service was friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our evening out, thanks lily’s cafe!“

“Great spot to stay in Uptown SJ. The room was modern, and it looks like it was renovated at some point in the last 5 years or so. Bathrooms still have original shower/tub combo and sink.

Overall, the stay was good. However, the general layout and parking is not instinctive like most hotels. After the first time, you completely get it, but clearer maps and instructions would save your guests' initial stress during check-in. You don't want it to be a pain point for guests.

Also, I found the lobby to be over scented, almost overwhelming.

The staff was very nice. I noticed their struggles with French speaking guests.

Big plus, pool and hot tub are open until 12am! Good for finding quiet time to unwind.“
