“One time like ten years ago my husband and I stopped in Lubec on a foggy off season afternoon after having been camping for a few days. We found ourselves on the deck at this dream pub with dark beers and smoked fish and chowders and a band that was improbably playing “wild mountain thyme”. It was so utterly perfect that I was just reminded of it and went to see if I could look up where it was that we were… I wanted to let them (and the band) know that they live in my memory of perfect places and times. Big gratitude.“

“We sat outside on the porch looking across Friars Bay to Eastport, USA. Wonderful views & friendly crew. Our choice for lunch were the Clubhouse Sandwiches and ice tea. Huge amounts of grilled chicken, bacon, cheese lettuce & tomato. Sandwiches were so large we could only eat half. Cookies for dessert topped it off. Fantastic Meal and definitely worth the ride to Campobello Island 🇨🇦 A+++“
