“I ordered from Pizza Pizza last night and when my pizza arrived it was cheese only for the toppings. I thought that was weird as I ordered 3 meat toppings. I called Pizza Pizza and the gentleman who answered had me check my order confirmation email (I should have done that when I received it) and sure enough, it said cheese only. Now I blamed the website but when you really think about it, it was more than likely an error on my part. That being said. The gentleman who answered offered to send me a new pizza with the toppings I thought I originally ordered for free. Now that is what I call great customer service. Even though the order error was probably my fault, he handled the situation very well and with an outcome that left me very happy and completely satisfied with the service. The very hot and delicious pizza arrived very shortly after my phone call.
I also have to say, I use to order pizza all the time from another pizza place in the area and they were my favourite UNTIL Pizza Pizza moved into the area, Ever since, they are the only place I order pizza and the other great products they offer from. It is always hot, always fresh, always delicious and the delivery drivers are always friendly and polite. The delivery is also very fast and you can track your delivery online, no need to wait staring out the window. I highly recommend Pizza Pizza for the great products they offer and exceptional customer service they have shown me to have.

“I went there tonight with my fiancé, my brother and sister-in-law. As we got there, they were just closed. My sister-in-law said I am so sad because I wanted to try this. It’s my first time and the guy who was working, came to the door and said for you, I’ll let you in. We all got chatting and it was like we were all besties. They were super nice and very friendly and agreed to make a few pizzas for us. They deserve a lot of recognition not many places would do this at all. “I love Papa John's. I am a fairly regular customer. I hadn't been there since Christmas, which is unusual. So I thought Valentines looked like a good time to return. I called to place my order. To my surprise, no one answered the phone. That was a first. So I went inside. A very exhausted looking young man came out to greet me. This was not the usual camaraderie that I was used to seeing when I would go there. He was clearly trying to find a minute to grab some lunch, and suddenly, I understood why the phone was not answered. So I asked him if he was working all alone and he said, "Yes, every day." I immediately felt badly for him. One of the busiest pizza days of the year and he was working alone. There was no one there to help him, nor even just to talk to. So I couldn't rate the service, nor the atmosphere, as highly as I would normally, because this man couldn't be the effective team member he normally would be. There was no atmosphere, it was just eerily quiet and still. No staff members hollering to one another, helping one another, laughing with one another. It was so sad to see. He did the best he could that day, and he made me some beautiful pizzas, even though he was feeling pretty low. So do better, Papa John's. Support your staff. No staff member should ever work alone in this crazy world.“

From the pizza to the sides, everything has been well-prepared, fresh, and packaged with care. That kind of reliability is rare in this industry and speaks volumes about the internal standards you’ve clearly put in place.

The staff has also been a steady presence — familiar faces, always polite, efficient, and focused. They may not be the most talkative crew, but they Hustle and I respect that. Maybe a bit more customer engagement or banter during slower moments wouldn’t hurt, but overall, the flow is smooth.

Out of all my visits, only one order didn’t quite hit the mark — and even then, I wouldn’t call it a failure. It was a timed order, and based on the texture and temperature, I’d guess it was made too early and sat a bit too long. It wasn’t a major issue, just one of those things when timing doesn’t line up perfectly. If you’re not already using heat racks, it might be something to consider —
