If you want to try different board games this is the place for you! Nice restaurant with delish meals and fun atmosphere
A rare gem! Beautiful food. Great staff.
An absolute treasure of an independent restaurant.
While corporations and franchises dilute anything worthwhile in hospitality....this rare gem is nothing but charismatic and amazing. I am grateful to have visited.
The world would be a better place if every community had a Le Moque Tortue. They are all soul and pride!

Le Moque-Tortue is a charming restaurant that has been delighting diners since its opening in September 2018. The menu offers a variety of delectable options, including Nachos, Chicken Club, and the popular Lobster Roll. Visitors praise the Lobster Soup for being filling and flavorful, and many consider the Lobster Roll to be one of the best they have had. The ambiance, especially when dining outdoors and listening to live music, adds to the enjoyable experience. The decor features different themes in each room, making each space unique and extraordinary. The friendly and dynamic staff are known for their excellent, original dishes and warm welcome. Customers also enjoy the impressive decor and the chance to play hundreds of board games, with some opting to rent private rooms for gatherings. Prices are reasonable, and the service is fast and attentive. The restaurant’s atmosphere, especially upstairs with the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme, creates a special setting for diners. Recent reviews highlight the excellent food, friendly service, and the restaurant’s kindness—such as mailing back a forgotten wallet. Overall, Le Moque-Tortue remains a popular and well-regarded dining destination close to the Shediac hotel.
