“I just hosted a small baby shower for my friend here at La Victoria. The staff was very kind to allow me to put small decorations on the table. I asked our waitress Antanella (not sure how to spell) if we could start with water for everyone and (seeing the occasion) she offered to bring us these fancy glass cups that they rarely ever use. I really appreciate her going the extra mile! She was the most patient, kind and helpful. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food was delicious! Friendly and helpful staff is the cherry on top!

Also, they have several taps from all shorts of local breweries, they also have wine on tap! Niki is the sweetest and most beautiful barmaid! She's Knowledgeable of products carried as well as swift and efficient in serving and holds intelligent and interesting conversation. They also have a selection of plants and pots where you could essentially plant and pot your new plant babies! So neat! Family friendly as well!. Best plant selection too!“

Every Wednesday, the owner Johnny whips up a new limited edition "Weiner Wednesday" hot dog recipe. I've had so much fun trying the new recipes and I try to go every week. They even keep my beverage of choice in the keg fridge behind the counter so there's always a cold one when I get there!

This week, I was sadly unable to go to Weenie Wednesday because I've got COVID. Johnny noticed, messaged me, and delivered my usual order - along with a special Weenie Wednesday hot dog - right to my door.

“Last night was the first time I stepped into W&P. As soon as I walked through the door I thought…”what is this place and why haven’t I heard this before?!”. I looked around for my friends on the first level and couldn’t find them, then realized, “wait, there’s a downstairs?”. Walking downstairs it opened up to this cozy, eclectic, 70’s vibe lounge - think Mike Brady (The Brady Bunch) had a hidden bourbon/whiskey bar. The whole place pleasantly sucked me in. “This bar has the best golf simulator in town, you rent it and have the room to yourself. Different surfaces for fairway, light rough, tall rough, green bunkers, fairway bunkers. The plate even shifts to simulate the angle of the course - really so much better than other golf sims I have used.As a bar, lots of great beers on tap, fun regulars, and the staff are all amazing.Only downside is the owner seems to think Lebron is better than MJ, but I guess nowhere is perfect.P.S. Contrary to the other review, I think there is the perfect amount of Marxism here.“

“I LOVE the glass jug. Their beer choices are amazing, ranging from lagers to IPAs to stouts and my favorite, sours. The service is consistently great, with all the beer tenders serving with a personable touch. I also love the glass jug for group and work events since you can easily rent the atrium space out. I found my community here through run club on Tuesdays, Trivia on Wednesdays, and many other events.“

“This is one of the coziest scenes I have experienced here in North Carolina. I've lived here for aomost 5 years! The people and the vibe are extremely relaxed. Such a chill place with great beer( I am not a beer drinker bit I really like theirs!!!) They bring in great vendors for a variety of food on Thursdays and the service from the bartender, Gabz is super fun behind the bar. PS... bring your dog and kids! Totally family friendly! “This place was great. We came on a Saturday for lunch and the selection was great, the customer service was awesome, the aesthetics were amazing. We had such a good time. My 5 year old said their cheeseburger was better than McDonald’s so that is really saying something. They had fun stuff for all ages but it was super hot so my kids only did the tire playground.“

“We LOVE the Mixx - It's our go to hangout on chill weekend ends and/or Wednesday nights after work. Their wine club is an excellent deal and has opened our pallet to new wines and regions we would not have purchased otherwise. “🤩 This is now my top 3 favorites around here! Ordered for the first time tonight, but was skeptical due to having it delivered (UberEats). Let me just say, those were the best tasting burgers we've ever had! I ordered a Perfect Burger (m,k,mu,chs), hubs ordered the Cowboy burger (jalapeños added a nice little 'nip' he said), our 10yr old got the Carolina Burger (added fried egg and no slaw) that was impressive! The chili seemed to have a dash of relish in it- amazing! And our 2yr old had the kid's cheese quesadilla. ZERO complaints. My son says he wants this everyday forever. Loaded fries were really crisp & flavorful. I had the onion rings and DAAAAAAAANG they were possibly the best batch of onion rings l've ever had. The pretzel bites were good/average. Nothing very overwhelming compared to the flavors of everything else we had. I loved that they avoid adding the cheese to the fries for delivery orders. Received a considerate amount of Queso and was flavorful & not bland at all. Our to-go delivery was extremely well wrapped & packaged. We will 100% be return customers. She’s easily one of the best bartenders I’ve ever come across — hardworking, experienced, and lightning-fast behind the bar. No matter how busy it gets, she somehow remembers everyone’s order and makes you feel like a priority. On top of that, she’s incredibly friendly, beautiful, and has an amazing energy that makes the whole atmosphere even better.
