“We were in the restaurant on 4/10 and Liz B was our waitress. She was the bubbliest, friendliest waitress and made sure we were taken care of. My husband has high standards for waitresses and as we were leaving he said "she was the best waitress I have had in a long time!" That is a huge comment within itself. “We celebrated my birthday at The Oak last night and had an amazing experience. Our server, John, was fantastic, and the Wright Flight cocktail is a must if you love gin. We loved the bone marrow starter, my husband’s ribeye was incredibly tender, and the confit duck tasted like fall on a plate. The Espresso Martini Affogato and peanut butter pie were perfect desserts. They even sent us home with mini banana breads! The Oak is officially my new favorite spot in Raleigh.“

“I planned a post funeral for the attendees who traveled to Raleigh from out of town. Since the time was for 3 PM on a Tuesday afternoon we got the area that can also be sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant, although in our case it was not. It did not need to sectioned off as the restaurant was not busy at this time. Lesan was our server and he was great. Energetic, friendly, quick with a smile and a master of the menu details. Our group was a mixture of different age groups but we love to talk and laugh. Lesan blended in seamlessly.“

“Had a great experience at Capital Grille this weekend for my son’s bday. They greeted us upon entry and immediately said happy birthday to my son, who loved it. Then the table was decorated and had a card from the restaurant for him. Nice little touches that made it special for him. The service was great, David and team took good care of us throughout the night. He even made sure the meals came out quick as we were trying to make the football game that night.“
