“We were in the restaurant on 4/10 and Liz B was our waitress. She was the bubbliest, friendliest waitress and made sure we were taken care of. My husband has high standards for waitresses and as we were leaving he said "she was the best waitress I have had in a long time!" That is a huge comment within itself. “This is an authentic Hibachi/Teppanyaki restaurant (they grille in front of you) with a kind and diverse staff, mainly from Asian descent. It is well designed and quiet. While it is sort of expensive the experience is worth every penny. The staff will take time to make your experience extra nominal. They also take time for your children too! Good 10/10“

“I planned a post funeral for the attendees who traveled to Raleigh from out of town. Since the time was for 3 PM on a Tuesday afternoon we got the area that can also be sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant, although in our case it was not. It did not need to sectioned off as the restaurant was not busy at this time. Lesan was our server and he was great. Energetic, friendly, quick with a smile and a master of the menu details. Our group was a mixture of different age groups but we love to talk and laugh. Lesan blended in seamlessly.“

“My husband and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary at The Capital Grille, and as always, it was a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We both started off with salads. I had the mixed greens, and he enjoyed one with greens, pears, and walnuts. Both were fresh and flavorful. For our main course, I ordered the filet mignon with lobster mac and cheese (highly recommend!), while my husband had the filet mignon topped with mushrooms and onions, perfectly cooked and tender. For dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée, which was heavenly. The staff also surprised us with an anniversary dessert that included what tasted like an espresso pudding and a slice of cheesecake it was such a thoughtful touch! Overall, The Capital Grille never disappoints. Excellent service, amazing food, and the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion.“

“We were seated at the exact time as our reservation. The atmosphere was so inviting. Our waitress was exceptional. The food was OK. The sides that came with the main “entree” were soooo good!!! But the steaks were not that great. That were cooked perfect to temp. But the outside of the steak was charred and they had absolutely NO seasoning/flavor to them whatsoever. Literally everything else about this restaurant is amazing! The other sides, the desserts, the wait staff, the appetizers, etc. We drove almost 2 hours to eat here, to get one of these “famous” steaks… And they weren’t good at all. Other than being perfectly cooked to temp. We would like to come back, we just won’t be getting steaks.“

Bartenders were awesome; Salad bar was so delicious and offered every imaginative salad topping you can think of with delicious dressings; Tableside cuts of Ribeyes were mouthwatering, tender & juicy-no sauces needed, perfectly seasoned and cooked over woodfire. “music should be in the background 'background music' unless it is a hard rock cafe, etc. else it forces everyone to yell or be unable to hear everything. i'm not going to write anything about the server since except for rudely condescending to an honest question about the menu, she did not speak to me the rest of the time i was there nor check on me, etc etc Fortunately there were several other staff around who assisted me during my visit!“

“25 years ago during SummerSlam, Jim Ross did a plug for this restaurant. I’ve always wanted to stop and eat here. I finally got to do it. My New York Strip steak was cooked perfectly. The desserts were awesome. I was not disappointed by this place. The staff was friendly, the drinks were good, and I loved all the atmosphere of this place. When I’m in Raleigh I for sure will come back.“

“Ordered the steak burger medium well. The bottom was burnt and crispy. The season wings used to be good and seasoned. Don't think I'll be ordering that item again. I mentioned to the waitress and she bought extra season on the side.“

“They literally made this one of the most special birthday’s ever for my boyfriend!!! Best service, best food, best table in the house!! It was absolutely amazing! We walked in and they delivered his favorite drink to him like requested. The raw oyster appetizer was incredible, calamari was fresh and delicious, crab dip was super (and we’re from Maryland and are picky with crab ? dip). The steaks were cooked perfectly (Pittsburgh style, medium rare) and the dessert was incredible! Cannot thank the team enough!!“

“Please change some of 20 curbside parking into handicap parking for a disabled veterans. Only 5 handicap spots always full but the 20 curbside pickup are always empty.“

“The ambiance is always good Food is beautifully prepared and nice size portions I was a little disappointed in the meal I chose this time but not because it wasn't well prepared, but I was really looking forward to the Chicken Caprese Pasta and it has been removed from the menu. But service was excellent and the beautiful deserts for my daughter's birthdays were delicious!“
