“I love the military support!Great atmosphere, decor was a little confused about its vision but still cool.Beers were solid. The BBA Thiic Stout was AMAZING, the blood orange IPA was very nice. The vanila porter and the oatmeal stout fell a little flat but they were still good. Be warned about their Hazy IPA- they warn you about the bitterness and they are not lying!Extensive food menu for what we were expecting from a brewery- cheese curds were very good.Kitchen clearly cooks from scratch, get your orders in ASAP if you arrive hungry.Indoor and outdoor seating. Good amount of parking.Beer and liquor options. Sports ball on the TV but thankfully there was music on and the commentary was (mostly) muted. The bartender was lackluster, unfortunately. Sweatpants to work is not something I’d allow for if this were my place, and I do expect my staff to greet people a bit faster - which he did… if he already knew your name- a greeting and a drink order and poured before he’d bother to look back at his bar top guests that he hadn’t checked in on in a few minutes- so great with the regulars, which we were not. He wasn’t very fast and honestly, just not welcoming enough for us to go out of our way to stop in the next time we are in town. Hopefully that is just us catching him on an off day, but if I were the owner, I’d rather know how to improve the ambiance than someone not express it.“

“Great, craft quality drinks, pour overs, in a small southern town. You don't always find that! The shop space is small but cozy; was able to get some work done in nice, colorful vibes. And the two women running the shop were super caring and efficient with everything. Great experience!“

“This is a great place to take the whole family! There is a variety of food trucks, nice selection of beer, and a playground to let your children run wild. Also, live music and plenty of dogs for your kids to pet and give free treats too. Love the fire pit and atmosphere at Red's Corner.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play on the playground or the sandpit and are likely to meet new friends. Great seating at picnic tables for larger families.“

“It's fantastic. Everything we've tried has been delicious, the staff's super busy but helpful, and you can buy your lotto tickets next door. Wedgies and the Pik 'n' Pig are the two "must experience" places we bring our out of town visitors.“

“Swank is my favorite amongst the many wonderful coffee shops in town! The staff is so friendly and always brighten my day. The coffee tastes amazing and I try to talk myself out of a scone every visit, which seldom actually works because they taste so yummy! My little doggy likes to come in sometimes for a pup cup too.“
“My spouse and I are staying at a local Airbnb in town about five minutes from here and it was a rainy evening so we wanted to grab a bottle of wine or two. I headed to watering can wines and I couldn't have possibly been more pleased with my experience. I expected to walk into a small wine shop, and instead I was greeted in a beautiful open marbled lobby space by two individuals serving tastings and glasses, as well as several tables of happy patrons, chatting, drinking, and snacking. I asked if it were possible to purchase some wine bottles and where that might be located and the most lovely woman I have ever met, Dianne, showed me the old wine shop space, the new space, and the temporary space while the new space is set to be open. I shared my wine preferences with Dianne, who then suggested I try the Merlot that they have at the tasting bar. She and her lovely male counterpart poured me a very generous tasting while telling me about the history of their shop and the wine that I was drinking. I asked to peruse the Merlot section a bit further, and after giving me some time to ponder, Dianne joined and discussed what may be the best option for me. Dianne was incredibly kind and generous in her helping me choose my selection. My spouse and I are happily trying our first bottle and excited to try the other. We plan to return to the airbnb we are at and are equally excited to return to watering can wines and see Dianne again! Hopeful to be able to stay and enjoy a glass on sight next time! (Sorry for the lack of pictures, it was rainy and I left my phone in the car!)“

“I found Berry Bowlful by accident in West End back when it was just the truck. I used to ride all around looking for where they’d be set up. They are always such great people and the food is unlike anywhere else. Today we ordered from the location in Southern Pines and they did not disappoint! If you haven’t tried it, you must. The serving size for the price is equally as amazing as the staff and flavors. Thanks Berry Bowlful for always satisfying!“
“This is the best brewery in southern pines, no questions asked. Rotating menu of beers on tap and I don’t know of any that our friends and family haven’t loved. I’m not a huge beer drinker so I love that they almost always have a seltzer, cider, and slushee drink on tap as well. Dog friendly both indoors and outdoors. They do various trivia and other events throughout the week as well. The staff are friendly and fun. This is always the first place we take friends and family when they visit and it always delivers.“

“The PineScone Cafe has been a great study spot for a few weeks now, and it's far more relaxing than studying at home. The music is at the perfect volume without being distracting, and the customer service is amazing! Obviously, the scones are the best I've ever had. They're so soft on the inside and when you ask to have them warmed up they're even better. If you want to study but subtract the distraction, make sure to stop by this cafe. ❤“

“Melt in your mouth filet mignon. My dinner companion had the Lamb Ragu Pappardelle Pasta and said it was divine as well. The wine options were outstanding and we had the Apple dessert. It was a cozy atmosphere and just sad I didn’t try this place sooner. Highly recommend“

“This was my first time going to Chapman. So I ordered a jam bacon sandwich with cheese, letruce and tomato. The side was French fries and a pickle. Beginning with the burger, it was descent, but I had better at kick back Jack's, in my opinion. However, the fries were bomb and would eat an entire plate of them. That is how good they were. I think we went at a busy time so the service was very long but our waitress was very apologetic to us. Recommend this restaurant for sure!“

“Had sweet potato fries as an appetizer. Serving was plenty for two people. Four could enjoy it. We had the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon. It was great! Tater tots as a side.It was a little dark and dreary. Wish it was a little brighter. Clean restrooms. Plenty of tvs showing a golf game. Empty when we arrived and filled up more around late lunch time.“

“Luckily, tonight my tennis team found Charbar No.7.I ordered a salmon salad with citrus dressing and a full pour of Pinot noir. I requested the salmon to be sushi grade raw. It was delicious and "melted" in my mouth. I then ordered some toast to help absorb the Pinot noir. The toast was also delicious. It was well seasoned, warm and reminded me of the texture of a warm Krispy Kreme doughnut without the sugar, of course. The food was so good, I hope to go back there again tomorrow for lunch!!!Thank you for a good experience and delicious and well prepared food!Leslie LyonCary, NC“
“My favorite coffee spot. They roast their own beans and the result is the best tasting coffee and espresso drinks in the Pines. Their beans also have more than the usual amount of caffeine, which is awesome in my book. They only take cash or check, so plan ahead. It's worth the effort if you're a serious coffee drinker like I am. There is also a really peaceful ambiance about the location that makes you want to sit down and enjoy the day. If the weather is cooperating, stay and enjoy your coffee in the outside seating area.“
“Very nice small hotel. Convenient to town and excellent friendly staff. Our package included golf/breakfast. Played resort courses 4 and 8 and both were fun courses and challenging without over the top difficulty. Would recommend breakfast buffet at the Carolina hotel.“
“Hatchet Brewing Company is an outstanding establishment! We had the honor of hosting our Hail and Farewell event at their Southern Pines location and were blown away by their awesome venue, the phenomenal beer selection, absolutely amazing staff, and willingness to go above and beyond for their guests. We want to thank the owners, Greg and Mike, for their support with making this event happen and the whole staff for providing unrivaled service and hospitality. We look forward to hosting more events at this venue!“
“Classic brewery bar front. They have a lot of beers on tap as well as cans. They fill growlers for you to enjoy at home. I had the Malty by Nature a Scottish red ale it was a good beer. The wife had the Salted caramel macchiato stout she found her beer for life. It's a strong stout and one can was all she needed or wanted. We left with a four pack.It seems off the beaten path but it's actually close to downtown“

“We visited on Saturday night. Around 7:30/8ish, they had a band starting to play inside. They had a bar inside and outside on the back patio. Their portion of boneless wings for just $9 was stellar! Honey BBQ was very good. Fries were solid too. Food came out very quickly! Highly recommend for grub food, a fun bar spot, and live music. They had pool tables and darts we didn't use.“

“Such a great brewpub experience! I love that you can find real barbecue here, and not just burger and chicken dishes like at most brewpubs (love them, but the barbecue and beer combo can't be beat!). The tap list is short, but a flight lets you taste most of it, so there's that!“
