the awesome service provided to us Brianna was very quick and friendly! She and one other were the only ones working tonight and there was a large group in front of us and they handled it wonderfully!

Definitely the worst DQ that I've ever seen, no manager oversight with the staff closing early and their common excuse is their ice cream machine is down.

Just moved to this area and discovered this location several weeks ago and have been multiple times near closing before and been served, however tonight I had 25 minutes before they closed for them to tell me they did not have any ice cream, only slushes and smoothies. she was extremely rude as well in her delivery, not too excited to drive out of my way to get to this location any longer.

The store closes at 10pm. We arrive at 9:18pm, which is 42 minutes before closing time. "We can't serve right now. We are early cleaning," they say. "Sorry we had a lot to clean." I saw 3 cars turned away from the drive-through and I had 7 people with me. If I were the owner, I would be completely upset about the money being missed because of lazy employees. YOU CLEAN AFTER YOU'RE CLOSED! This isn't anything new. Poor management, if there even is any. They are always out of product or the ice cream machine isn't working. For crying out loud, this one doesn't even sell food. The least they can do is serve the ice cream.

Went to get Ice Cream at 9:15 and was told they had "ran out" OF ICE CREAM. Saw the girls standing around in the front room... Running out of ice cream is one thing, but running out because you wanted to clean early is another. It's winter, people are not going for ice cream like they do in the summer. Happens often at this location.

We stopped in for ice cream and both machines (vanilla and chocolate) are broken. The girl at the register told us vanilla was broke and we ordered chocolate. Which we had to repeat size and dip coating several times as she was not really paying attention to what was being said. The other girl tried to make the chocolate cone dipped in chocolate and said that machine was then broken. So we got no ice cream and had to leave empty handed after all the frustration of repeating ourselves.

Almost every other day for the past two weeks, their machine is down or they say it's runny! It's ridiculous! This place has gone down hill so much and there is no good ice cream places in Albemarle anymore.

Ice cream is good but it pretty much stops there, the manager a male is always rude and have had multiple people say that, restaurant is always littered with pieces or trash and food remains but, no one ever sweeps it seems or wipes down the tables, definitely needs someone to come in and retrain the staff on cleanliness and friendliness, cause this is not the kind of atmosphere I expect when going into a Dairy Queen, Very disappointing..
I've been to the Albemarle location since I've lived in Albemarle when they first built the Dairy Queen here had awesome service but here lately the service has fallen off I guess because they are understaffed but that has no reason to not having ingredients I asked several times for banana strawberry smoothieL large and have been told lately they don't have bananas oh my God bananas are right over at Food Lion more than two blocks away but they can't get bananas and the guy says well I'm here all by myself so I can't make it I didn't understand what that meant either but don't go until they fix the situation because it used to be a fantastic place to go to get the best movie you ever had in Albemarle NC not anymore I will not take a third chance of just asking for a smoothie and being told no when all it has in it is strawberry syrup and some bananas give me a break and a little yogurt and they can't even do that I'd give them no stars if I could

Staff was unfriendly, Blizzard was not frozen hard and turning to milk long before I could eat it. The quality of the blizzard was very poor...not enough chocolate. I went inside and ask her to make me one with more chocolate. She had a sour attitude, and made me another one pretty much like the first one. I eat mini choco brownie extremes at other locations. I have never had one as bad as this.

Don't waste your time. Employees do not care.......about anything to do with customer service. Recently walked in the store only to see nobody in the store working. Both employees outside. After five minutes, I walked out. I'm wondering if I could have just helped myself to anything in the freezer. Otherwise service is always subpar, no matter what time you go. Better off going to the Locust Store.

Poor service. Girl in the drive thru doesn't say please or thank you. Doesn't even ask you for your order.... Just says welcome to Dairy Queen. No question involved. Closed dinning room due to lack of staff.... Which is probably lack of management. Order was wrong also and very sloppy.

I wish I didn't even have to select a star. Sorry, pitiful service. I made it very clear what sizes I wanted and they messed those up. Our blizzards were melted and runny when we received them and made a blame mess in my car that I had a hard time cleaning up. Threw them right in the freezer when we got home because they were liquid. Pitiful. Thanks COVID for pathetic service and sorry workers.
