Traveling a few hours from home with my husband & got hungry. Met the owner. Great guy. He recommended an amazing Mushroom Swiss Burger. So juicy and flavor on point. Will make a point to stop back in if in the area again. Great place.
Outstanding food and some of my favorite imports. You will not be disappointed with the food or beer selection. A little of something for everyone. Don’t be in a hurry, sit down and relax, your down south.
maybe it was just a bad day for the kitchen staff but I ordered the fish and chips, and potato skins. the fish batter was mushy, should have been cooked longer and the order of potato skins was 2 skins for $9.00. 2? at $4.50 per skin? it took 50 minutes to get my order. Only 3 other tables were serves while I waited. Like I said - maybe it was just a bad day for the kitchen staff.

The Tattered Tartan Pub is a great spot for a bite and drinks. The beer is delicious, including the Sweeten Creek Ashechillie Hazy IPA, and the owner Eric is knowledgeable and friendly, just like the regulars. The menu offers a range of options, including the popular Cottage Pie, Scotch Eggs, and juicy new burgers like the Pub Burger and Anarchy Burger, all at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is comfortable and modern, with a homey feel reminiscent of Cheers. The bartender serves top-tier cocktails, and the cook, Eric’s wife, is an artist in the kitchen. With plenty of free street parking, this pub is a must-visit for great food and great people.
