I live in Michigan and have family in the Raleigh area so I visit quite often. I discovered Shelley’s Mom’s Bakery a year and a half ago on my quest for authentic pastries. The pastries are so delicious and very reasonably priced. I 100% recommend!!
While driving towards Angier, we came across this bakery sign and decided to check it out! What a lovely place, as soon as you open the door, aroma of freshly baked goodies hit you! And then the sight of goodies!! I dare you to stop buying 😃 We bought a big variety and loved everything! Tres leches is out of this world good!! There were at least 6-7 different flavors of tres leches, we tired two and both were exceptional! We’ll be back, although it’s a good 1hr away!
When we first moved to this area we were disappointed there is no Italian or Irish bakeries around!! Shellys Moms bakery more than made up for it!! Everything is fresh and so good my husband loves their cookies my new favorites are the Corsica’s and the spinach and feta pastry amazing!! And everyone is so friendly and helpful we highly recommend them!!
