Real BBQ! All the food was cooked to perfection! The staff was awesome. I can't wait to come back.

My husband, my in laws and I tried this for the first time last weekend. The food was mediocre. We had high hopes as we love supporting smaller businesses. We just weren’t big fans.

We went down for lunch and lucked out it being a burnt ends day. Our brisket sandwiches were slabs of juicy, smokey flavorful meat. The vinegar based sauce we could apply was just the cherry on top of a marvelous eat.

Nice place , good food and service. Very big portions for fair prices. A must tryKid-friendliness: Authentic food and old fashioned ways

2nd try back after the worst smoked chicken ever. This time 1/2 lb Pulled pork was half fat and disgusting. Fried Okra was full of grease. They burned something and it was full of smoke and smelled bad inside. Food and service used to be alot better, not sure what happened here. But the peach cobbler is still great.

My new favorite place! Best BBQ in NC hands down! Ugh I crave it all the time! I always get the pulled pork and it's amazing! My husband loves the brisket! It's so juicy and their barbecue sauce is the best I ever had!

Drove by this place for a few years but never stopped. Always said I was going to, but just kept driving. This trip I was with my wife and we were talking about getting something to eat. I told her, there is this BBQ place I always drive by, and she said, "Let's go." I got the BBQ chicken sandwich. I typically avoid BBQ chicken as it's dried out. This one was NOT! My wife got the brisket and loved it. I loved the spiciness of baked beans, but it was too much for my wife. It's a tiny place and our food came out really fast. Next time you are driving by and think about stopping, do it.

Love this place. I have a fairly long commute to work. This is the half way point so I have stopped by quite a few times. The food is always good. The service is quick and everyone is really nice. I usually post reviews as a first time customer but this place has earned a good review several times over with their consistency.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac. I have eaten here several times and never had an issue. I have ordered very carefully though based on my own knowledge. I never mentioned my condition or asked questions about the gluten free options. So, I can't speak to the level of understanding or acceptance of the matter.

This place is awesome. The staff is friendly, for is great, and it has a nice comfortable feel.A real hidden gem in Angier! I and my friend will be back often!
Very small BBQ restaurant, but HUGE FLAVORS!!! Their meats are beautifully smoked to perfection. Open Sundays 11am to 3pm. We arrived at 1pm and the turkey breast was already sold out?. We tried their chicken instead (it was a tiny bit spicy)...WOW!! Their brisket was also AMAZING! If you upgrade for $3.50 you get a meal in a basket : your Protein, 1 side (all very good), a perfect slice of Texas toast, and your refillable drink. Bathroom was spotless. Employees were constantly cleaning off tables.

When Tonya the owner actually ran the restaurant and work there, the food was amazing! Sadly, she is still the owner But no longer works there or runs the restaurant herself. However the quality of the food and the recipes seem to have changed and it's just not what it wants used to be. Also, due to pandemic supply shortages the prices are sky high. Sadly, what was was our favorite is no longer. We just can't afford it!

This is the bbq dive you didn't know you needed in your life. It is definitely a dive, so be ready, but the food is wonderful. Smoked brisket and smoked wings had great flavor. The burnt ends sandwich was Smokey and crunchy. Fried okra was crispy, good hash brown casserole and coleslaw. We will be regulars. Ate too fast for a picture!

1st time here, but definitely not the last! The Brisket was soooo good! They have large portion sizes and delicious BBQ sauce.

Meh - sometimes good , sometime bad, (sometimes out of food), sometimes good service, sometimes not. Shame because it used to be good (I think owners changed in last 18 mos).
