I was visiting my Dad and Step-mom and we were recommend to Daniel's, food was excellent! My Dad best veal marsala he ever ate. Step-mom said her food was great! 1st off the waiter mixed my Dad and my drinks up but no biggie. We all got salads, she and I had the Greek and he the wedge. Big enough to be our entrees, very delicious. Than he brought our meals mine was incorrect I ordered the chicken and mushroom marsala in a cream sauce with tomatoes and fried onions. He brought me the regular chicken marsala (that I corrected him about when we were ordering) but I kept it because it was busy and it was very good. We ordered dessert and he didn't bring mine, when we asked where my chocolate cream pie was he said sorry I'll be back with it, he came back and asked if I asked for a different pie so I corrected him again. When he finally came with mine they were done so I got a box and took mine home. Because the food was so good we didn't complain. Would definitely return.

Well as you walk into this restaurant it’s a little bit dim and a little bit older but I’ll tell you the pizza is a 10 perfect crust perfect cheese cooked perfectly. I’m from New York and I do know pizza 🍕 and the food. The veal Parmesan was a hit. Fettuccine Alfredo was on point. The food was delicious. The service was OK but they don’t really come around to ask you if you need something but all in all I give it a 8 my boys loved it and my mom. I took her out for dinner. Had a nice time.will be back

We walked in and were not greeted at all. Seems like we were interrupting a conversation between co workers. There was a wet rag on a table which was pretty gross. The 95% cleanliness score posted on the wall was a bit of a clue. Received bread and red sauce, which was not worth the calories.
The pizza was very salty and nothing to rave about.
Huge disappointment. Will not return.

Delicious food. Service can be a little slow, but a great choice for a relaxing meal. Be sure to make a reservation and have the chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert!

I’ve eaten in a few Italian restaurants but this one, the food doesn’t taste authentic. The mushroom tasted like it was sitting in an exhaust pipe to cook, the Ziti was almost tasteless, the bread was good. Food gave me the runs. People were nice though. Sauce on Caesar salad was watery.

my husband and I attempted to eat dinner here tonight with our son right as they opened, but were turned around and told it would be two hour wait due to the amount of reservations they had in the future, and if we decided to dine in, we would be kicked out at a certain time to accommodate other reservations. we have been patrons of Daniel’s since they first opened and have never encountered issues like this. the staff were less than welcoming. we were not only ones showing up without a reservation either. management should be aware of how many reservations they are taking each night and the fact that the bar is small and only having those and the small hightops available for walk ins is not enough nor practical for more than one or two people. the lack of kindness by staff was the icing on the cake. was our first very disappointing visit to Daniel’s this evening, but made a lasting impression on this long time customer.

Food is great. Take out service is absolutely the worst! I called in 3 times with no answer. 3rd time i left a message for my order. Giving my name and phone number twice. No call back and was told when I arrived they don't take orders via phone messages. Why not say so on the recording!!! So, no I must wait another 35 minutes.
Like I said food is good but not that good.
Food is consistently good! They always have a great specials. We had the charcuterie board last night and were amazed. Service is always excellent. Always loud and crowded. Parking is very hard.
Parking: May need to park down the block and walk past a gas station on a dark street.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Plenty of kid dinner options as well. My kids love the zeppolis.

What to say.... this restaurant is in dire need of remodeling. It's dark, but not in the nice way... more of a gloomy feel to it. The server low-key belittled his trainee by making it sound like he was babysitting the trainee with a "he's hanging out with me tonight". SERIOUSLY?? I felt bad for the trainee. The bread was great. The appetizer (fried ravioli) was cooked without a frying medium (breadcrumbs) and came out looking like dried out hard raviolis. They didn't taste much better. I ordered the veal franchaise. I LOVE VEAL, but not if it's the tenderness consistency of meat jerkey.... and this was borderline that tough of a piece of veal. My wives piece of veal in her Masala wasn't any better... and the sauce looked like it was made from a powdered gravy packet. All in all, I wish we'd have spent a few dollars more per person and gone up the way to Lugano Ristorante where their food is always awesome and their service is top notch. I will NEVER come back to Daniel's of Apex again.

Manager was rude when informed of a bungled up take out order, though the order was redone . Unacceptable rude behavior!
