Great little joint just off the highway in Apex. Stopped in with family yesterday for a quick beer and left 3 hours later with new friends and a great time. Good music and awesome vibe. Will definitely go back!!

This bar truly felt like stepping into the backyard of an old friend — just to sit, chill, talk, and enjoy a couple of good drinks. The name fits the vibe perfectly. Very cozy, homey, and relaxed, with absolutely no pretentiousness. It felt like a place where you come for a heartfelt conversation and a few solid, well-made brown spirits. The cocktails were amazing — prepared quickly, properly, and with real technique. The glasses were chilled with ice beforehand, which many bars skip, but it makes a big difference. Everything was done exactly the way it should be. The alcohol quality was excellent, and the female bartenders were genuinely pleasant and welcoming. There was also a live band playing — a female vocalist with guys on guitar — and it really felt like a group of old friends making music together. Very warm, soulful, and authentic atmosphere. A place you want to come back to.

The music is extremely loud every Friday and Saturday nights. We live in nearby and can’t sleep until the music stops playing in 11 pm. So I ask the management to lower the volume and respect the community.
