Crag Rangoons have a nice and crispy shell. The food is very well priced however the egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken had a bit of a fishy flavor. Perhaps they change their fry oil at the end of the weekend and just unlucky with my timing.
Was looking for a place in Apex with twice cooked pork. Please advise that they do not use pork belly which is the traditional way of doing twice cooked pork. Instead it was a very dry sliced up pork chip with some veggies and a brown sauce that wasn't spicy. Please take advice from C&T Wok on how to do twice cooked pork.
This is a deceptively good takeout chinese place. They have the best chinese food I've tried in the west cary/apex area. The owners are very nice and care about their customers. Their food is always good. I like their hot and sour soup especially. I love hot and sour soup and I always try it first at every chinese place I go to. Theirs have a unique smoky taste and isn't sweet like other places have (it's not supposed to sweet).
