Gustavo's Birria Tacos are the bomb! They rival the best I've had in California for sure. His decades of experience in the kitchen are evident, definitely worth a trip out to Apex from Raleigh. ?

I don’t know why I never reviewed this taco truck it’s been a while since we’ve been but me and my husband stopped by one day for tacos the tortillas hecho a mano caught our attention and we got the tacos de asada and they were to die for I could have eaten more I highly recommend this taqueria it’s so worth it. They also take debit cards which is a plus! Very friendly and fast service you won’t be disappointed.

My first time here for dinner, so I tried a "make your own combo" with a beef chimichanga and a chicken burrito. It came with refried beans and rice and had a little shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese, guac and sour creme on top of the chimi. Both the burrito and the chimi were smaller than some places, but were stuffed with meat....nothing else, just meat. Both the meats were just ok...I added some of the salsa that was served with chips to add some flavor. There is plenty of parking and the place is not real big, but big enough to have a large group. They do have a bar and the drink and menu is large, with the typical offerings available. There was only one person working...he was doing a great job with take out and in house orders. The meal came out quickly and was warm...could have been hotter, but at least it everything was warm. Not my favorite place, but I am glad I tried it. I noticed they do have lunch specials.

I have only tried the quesadilla al pastor. It was ok for the price ($7) but the flavor and quality of the pastor meat was not as good as I was expecting. I would eat here again but I would try a taco or something besides a quesadilla.
Amazing tacos & very friendly staff. Had the Asada, BBQ chicken tacos & these chippy things that taste like Bugles but better.

Best taco's ever! Their fish and shrimp taco's remind me of the west coast. I haven't seen their truck in a few weeks and there is another truck parked in their space. I hope this doesn't mean that they left permanently!

Best taco truck in Apex! Extremely flavorful meats and always outstanding. They haven’t been around this week though so maybe they moved somewhere else permanently. (They’re back! Said they had to get their food truck serviced.)
