The Provincial is a charming restaurant that offers a unique dining experience in a historic setting. The menu features a nice variety of interesting and delectable dishes, with standout appetizers and enjoyable desserts. Reviewers praise the quaint ambiance and walkable location, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
While the service and seating arrangements can be hit-or-miss, with some visits reporting long wait times for meals and cramped quarters, the consistently outstanding food quality keeps diners returning. The diverse menu options include the dry-rub wings, which can be a bit heavy on the spices for some palates.
The restaurant is often packed, so it's recommended to make a reservation. Diners can try the tacos, which are a menu staple for a reason. The bartenders are fantastic, and the farm-to-table concept is appreciated. Overall, The Provincial offers a charming dining experience, with delicious cuisine that makes it a recommended addition to one's list of local eateries.
