“Highly recommend this place , it’s good to have places like this in a small town . Christian based restaurant , the moment you walk in you are greeted with love and welcoming hospitality. The menu does not have a huge selection of things but there smoothies were delicious very natural and you can watch the lady make them for you . The have a small area in the front part for reading or praying as well as the prayer wall. I found the prayer wall the highlight of my experience , but ther egg is definitely space to dine and pricing was decent . Overall there waffles very delicious and pretty big .“

“The Mill is a like a blast from the past for myself! For starters the Mill works hand in hand with the Baptist Children's Home. Meaning that proceeds actually go towards helping the youth in our community. The blast from the past, is because I still remember as a child, attending the daycare center that was once there for after school programs! Even the murals & scriptures among other great memories are still there! The staff were so friendly and they have truly kept the welcoming feeling that was already there while growing up! They have fresh baked desserts, along with your favorite cup of coffee to start your day! It's quiet and can even be an excellent spot for meetings!“

All these factors together ensemble a fantastic experience. Not to mention THE MESSAGE behind the coffee- there’s not a reason to get your caffeine fix from anywhere else. “This was our first time here and what a great discovery! My granddaughter wanted to go get Boba tea after her birthday dinner. We had been going to one in High Point but discovered this local one and gave it a shot!The esthetics of the location are so nice. A cozy coffee shop that has sufficient seating and some neat features! There is a coffee table the is a chalkboard on top where you can sit and doodle as you enjoy your drinks and snacks. We then discovered there’s a whole wall of chalkboard! The girls loved being creative as Mom and Grandma relaxed.The employees are so sweet and gracious. I’d like to highlight Lorin in particular! She was so patient and accommodating with my 8 year old granddaughter who tends to interact on a high level. She engaged with her, even joined in on writing on the chalkboard with her! When Lorin discovered it was my other granddaughter’s birthday, she said if she has known she would’ve perhaps bought her drink. (This is not to be expected btw anyone, of course. But the thoughtful and kind gesture was so appreciated!) She is a gem and deserves recognition for an amazing job of serving and engaging with the customers!Another bonus for me personally was that they had Christian music playing. It added to the sense of relaxation and gratitude of the day and new experience at Colonial Grind!We’ll most definitely be back!“

“The employees were welcoming & friendly! I had no idea what I wanted and sometimes the menu can be overwhelming & lets be real when you are already hungry it is so hard to make a decision. Loved how clean and cool it was inside this location! I ordered the berry Brazilian bowl with the dragon fruit base, it was divine! Highly recommend stoping in for something! “Really enjoyed my first visit to Akoko during their soft opening! The space is beautiful. Soft greens and browns makes for an inviting atmosphere and there's plenty of room in case there's a crowd. The little girl working the register was so helpful with making my choices with me. I went with the brown sugar milk swirl with honey boba, garlic soy chicken bites, and the Che coco leaf dessert. The boba was everything I want in a boba tea - so yummy, I want to try more! The chicken bites were a bit overcooked but still really good! The Che was unlike anything I've ever had before. The Vietnamese dessert contains red and white beans which is a first for me but at least I can say I tried it! I can't wait to return to try more boba off their menu - next time a fruity flavor!“

There was a wide variety of flavors of ice cream, and all that we tried were delicious! “Omg I tried their 2 day cleanse for the first time and it was amazing! The gentleman helped me decide what to get based on my goals and I saw small results within the 2 days. I’ll definitely be trying it again maybe using their 3 day cleanse. Also their immune shot that comes with the cleanse is surprisingly very yummy. 10/10 recommend.“
