“This place is the definition of a hidden gem! We were looking for an alternative for a large chain location that was temporarily closed. This place popped up in my search. It is located in an unassuming strip mall. We weren't sure what to expect as it almost looked close.But once inside we were greeted by the two delightful owners. We engaged in wonderful conservation with them as they took our orders and then prepared our drinks. Each drink was made with care. They made sure to understand the dietary restrictions in our party.Even after our drinks were ready, we continued to sit and talk. I can see why they have stayed open for over two decades!“
“We tried Tropical Cafe for the first time tonight. Got to the restaurant at 8:45pm not realizing they closed at 9pm. Not only did we get hot, fresh (and incredibly tasty) food but we were also blessed to receive stellar service. The dining room was closed (understandably so) so we parked in the parking lot to eat and allow our 7 m/o baby to get out of the car seat for a bit. Noni, the shift lead, saw we were out there with the baby and went the extra mile by bringing us extra napkins in case we needed them. Overall, A+ service and food! We’ll definitely be back!“
“Me and my sister come here every time we get the chance. Sure, rolled ice cream options are limited round these parts, but of every place I've tried this one is the best. Tons of options, highly customizable, beautiful rolls. Atmosphere is also excellent. Music is always bangin, and the TV has things to look at too - once it was playing a movie, but I've noticed recently they have videos of ice cream being rolled which is fascinating. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Slayed.“
