Came to this place based on several recommendations. I venture to say it was the best Mexican I’ve ever had. Homemade corn and flour tortillas. You could tell extra care and effort went into each dish. Next time we’re in the area, this will be our 1st stop.

I am so thankful that this wonderful family restaurant has some awesome comfort cuisine that I have missed since I moved away from my Mexican neighborhood. They have champurrado, a drink that takes lot of time and care in making but is10x better than hot chocolate or coffee. The winter is always best with champurrado and tamales. Of course, the caldo de res on the weekends just hits the spot on these cold winter days up in the mountains. They even make their own corn tortillas...

First time having emmoladas and they were amazing. My wife had the al pastor and asada tacos and said they were some of the best she's had. Every time we're back up in NC we'll be stopping by here for lunch as much as my wife will let me. I knew i picked a good Mexican restaurant for lunch once i saw all the Mexican workers coming in for lunch. Great food and friendly employees! We will definitely be back again.
