The chef collaborations and upcoming events at Ivory Road are a foodies paradise! The space was recently updated. It's cozy and welcoming. Each space, in the home turned restaurant, offers community seating with exceptional service for a one of a kind experience. Stay tuned for their new offerings and curated menus. Brunch yesterday was next level. Thank you chef's TT and Jill.

Smallest portions in the business! Food was very salty. Prices are high for what you get! I have no idea if they're feeding flies or people. Teeny weeny sized portions. Stop skimping on the portions. The corner grill is killing you because you suck!

We had a catered lunch today (turkey pot pie, salad, roasted veggies, cookies, and brownies) it was absolutely delicious and brought joy to all who partook of it! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free options

Lovely and charming best describe this hideaway cafe in the Blue Ridge. Delicious menu options and crafted cocktails and mock tails make for a unique lunch experience. The bees loved us too much, so we reluctantly dined inside. Not disappointing as the furnishings are delightful. Plenty of fresh salads and sandwiches, as well as homemade soups and desserts.

Off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive from anywhere in the Asheville vicinity. Ivory Road offers excellent food, lovingly prepared and served by people who are genuinely happy you're there. The cozy atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy yourself. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Best breakfast in Asheville! Seriously!

The day was already off to a great start. My wife and I left Greenville a little after 5am to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway to watch the sunrise. Becky had found Ivory Road a day or two before; it was barely a ten minute drive from the Sleepy Gap Viewpoint, so we planned to go there for breakfast. It was like having a meal at a good friend's house.I had the Southern Skillet (this picture was after one bite) which was really good; my wife had breakfast al la carte. The coffee was _very_ good.We enjoyed a conversation with Jill, and enjoyed a chat with another couple there. We enjoyed pretty much everything about our visit, and look forward to stopping in again next time we're in the neighborhood.

Adorable little spot with most of their seating outdoors. The menu is fabulous with some variety, and all unique dishes. My breakfast tacos with chicken thighs and crumbled waffles were SO good, and service was super friendly and attentive. I will be back.Parking: I came two days in a row while in town, and it was on weekdays, so it wasn’t crowded. Plenty of parking and some in the shade. Not far to walk at all.

I saw good reviews and wanted to try the Ivory Road café. I had read about how great it was and was hopeful. I love to try new places. There were available tables inside, but it was too smoky from the open kitchen, and the room was too dark for me. It was an absolutely beautiful day, so I wanted an outdoor seat. There were some picnic tables available on the ground level, but the four seat tables were taken. There were no individual tables for one or two persons that I noticed from the deck. However, I was wearing an orthopedic boot, so I didn’t want to walk across uneven ground anyway. But maybe that’s something they can change by adding a few small tables on ground level, and at least one or two to the deck. There was a little bit of room near a window for a tiny table.I sat at table for four since it was the only free table on the deck. Why does that matter? Because I was taking up a table where they could’ve made money on a larger group if I had come in. Plus, I felt a little weird to be sitting at such a large table by myself. A group came in after me, and a woman l asked if I was by myself and could she could take one of the chairs from the table and use it at the one beside me. And I had no problem with that. The servers were pleasant, and I received my order promptly. The real problem was the food.It was quiche, which I figured could just be cut and served. Some places serve it cold on a very hot day, and this was a very hot. But they warmed it up and that’s fine. I wasn’t fine is that it was over cooked. The eggs were rubbery, and the crust had pulled away so far from the quiche. It was a good half inch of space. That indicates the quiche was overdone. The flavor was OK, and the crust was rich & buttery. That was that was assigned that had the quiche been fresh, it probably was good quite good. The fruit was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the potatoes were tough. Again, that indicates they were warmed up too long. Some had a crunchy exterior, which is always good for country potatoes. But when the fork doesn’t easily break the skin, the potatoes are overdone. And they tasted over done & warmed over. The server asked how it was, and I told her. I did say that I enjoyed the fruit cup. She apologized for the quiche and potatoes, and said she would tell the kitchen, but that’s as far as it went. I ate as much as I could because it was my lunch. I didn’t expect to be comped for the food. I ate it. But I did expect better. And I was disappointed. That just means I won’t be back.I chose this restaurant over another new (to me) one. :(. But that’s OK because I tried someplace different, $ drove around on a gorgeous day. And that’s what my little adventure was about Next time I go on a small road trip, I’ll try another restaurant.

Yikes. I keep giving this place a chance because my wife loves a particular drink. However, after today I’m done. Why in the world does the cook not wear gloves…or wash his hands between handling himself and other items and then our food. Our table provided a perfect view of his practices and it grossed me out. My wife convinced me the food was fine, but sure enough, I got sick when we got home. Never again.

It's a great little cafe for sandwiches, soup and salad. The staff is very friendly and you always feel welcomed. Parking is a bit tight and they are busy, but once everything gets going it's great.I've eaten here several times happily, but unfortunately my last experience (this week) made me sick after eating the salad with chicken.
