I would have loved to go here but unfortunately the employees working decided to close early! Both were sitting in the lobby playing on their phones lmao. If u wanna ride the clock at least do it where no one can see you.

I have a genuine fear in my life that one day there won't be any more Schlotzsky's in NC, and I won't know what to do with myself. Anytime I visit family in Asheville, I buy 4-5 sandwiches and take them back home with me, because I genuinely don't think there's a better sandwich on the planet.

Depressing inside. Food was mediocre. The customer service leaves much to be desired. Did not feel welcome. Would not eat here again. Tried to come the previous day during regular business hours and they were closed an hour and a half early. Gross bathrooms.

Stop to get mini cinnamon rolls, I wanted them fresh. The cashier told me she would have take them out the freezer and cook them. I asked how long? She was mumbling, I told her I can't hear you.she said we close at 5pm. I looked at my watch it was 4:12pm that just let me know she was lazy and didn't want to take my order. Wow this is today's youth just LAZY want money but do not want to work for it. Oh also I looked up the closing time which clearly shows 10pm so you lied on top of not wanting to service a paying customer ? ? ?

Waited for 10 minutes in the lobby for someone to take our order. There was no one in the drive thru or the lobby. Once we got someone's attention we had to wait 5 more minutes before she took our order. She came out with an attitude and the bread was stale and hard.

Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful. The food as always is awesome. Highly recommended. :)Dietary restrictions: I am diabetic and they have plenty of drink options which are sugar free.

Ordered a roast beef sandwich mayo and pepper.Nothing else. So the counter girl began asking if I wanted onions, tomatoes, pickles, etc. I told her bread, roast beef mayo and pepper and you're done. So she asked me if I wanted cheese. I told her that she was becoming annoying, just get my sandwich going. The roast beef is overdone. Not like true deli roast beef at all which is light brown around the outside and light pink in the center and thinly sliced not as thick as my shoe sole. Better off buying thin sliced roast beef at the supermarket and making your own sandwich at home..

Tried the spicy original and the medium (only size it comes in) was huge and delicious.

I enjoyed my veggie sandwich at the Long Shoals location in Asheville, but may not return because they use too much plastic. It's really sad how we are destroying our environment with single use plastic. A company the size of Schlotzsky's should be able to switch from plastic to paper. It's not that difficult.
