Went as a family to get breakfast yes we're a large family but the waitress wasn't very friendly at all never smiled and tried to encourage us to sit in another servers area but we wanted certain seating. Our food came out quickly but my daughter had multiple hairs in her plate we weren't even offered a discount for her plate I had to give her my food with a check of right at $70 it would have been nice to felt more welcomed. I think our waitress could benefit from smiling and being more welcoming

Just had breakfast at Waffle House store #311 in Taylorsville, IN. The service was excellent and we witnessed the waitress “Sharon”, greet her customers by complimenting the woman’s smile and then turning to the man and telling him how lucky he was. It was so nice to see customer service at its finest. I am sure it made the customers day!

My partner and I have been going here twice a week for the past 4 months since moving here because the waitress and her boyfriend who cooks are phenomenal!!Tonight however we were treated like our business did not matter to them. The waiter glared at us the entire time we were there not wanting to be friendly. The next people that walked in got a smile and friendly service.The cook sent out cold portions of the meal and when we asked her for a refill on my drink that had been empty since the food was brought to us she acted like she was appalled by that question.Not sure who has been hiring the staff there but I will tell you now those two must have been hired during a crunch and need for bodies.Sad that a place that made us feel comfortable when first moving to the area in one night destroyed that feeling.

the crew at the arden store are a great staff. Never get undercooked bacon or eggs. generally pretty quick in and out, usually within 45 mins.
Kind service and the waitress called me honey. Lots of Christmas spirit and the drinks came out very fast. The environment was very nice a decorative. There was a very big spider outside my window but other than that the inside was very neat. The water was very tasty and slid down my throat smoothly, the ice was also very nice. Overall this is a great place to go to and the food is yummy. It's Waffle House people...you get what you get!!

Great food, awesome staff, and good friends I haven't seen in a long long while....However, there's very obviously mold growing in the ceiling. It looks like this unit got a half remodel, where they left the gross tar and nicotine laden wind screen vent installed from the days of smoking sections. The mold is propagating outward from said vented area, and the vent runs from the front of the building to the back wall. The mold has festered enough that parts of the ceiling are missing around the vent.I'm mildly concerned that management might attempt to have the regular employees clean this mess, but it probably needs a specialist at this point and definitely needs PPE that isn't standard WAHO gear at the minimum.Rating will go back to 4-5 Stars when this issue is corrected.
