I felt like the brisket, for lunch, was way overpriced. Otherwise, we enjoyed our food.

Vegetarian options: My daughter in law is vegetarian and found plenty of delicious choices for lunch.

This was a catered 12 bones meal for a birthday party. Everything was delicious. I've never tasted potato salad like their Smokey potato salad. I love the greens and the cheesy grits and of course the barbecue is top notch.

Best ribs I’ve ever had!! The food here is amazing. We got the brown sugar dry rub and these ribs were so good. The place is a really fun atmosphere. This is a great casual spot to enjoy bbq around the river art district.

Do not come here if you're here for their ribs, or a side of mac and cheese. Also, their briskets are only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays per the menu in store. And being restaurants, they're not open on Sat, Sun, (BOTH of the stores in Asheville). Obviously not catering to out-of-towners who visit on weekends. Is that a lot of caveats? I'll leave it to you. We only came here on a friend's recommendation of the blueberry ribs (who came here YEARS ago).

The actual food - we got the ribs, mac and cheese, and corn pudding. The ribs were tough and did not fall off the bone nor was it tender, not even a little bit. The mac and cheese was more like mac and mac - with a hint of cheese. The corn pudding was the only good thing.

The only good things aside from the things we ordered? The service was nice, the people were nice. The venue and area was artsy. Unfortunately I don't think those things are generally what bring people back in restaurants. The last caveat is maybe they have other things that taste better that we didn't order.
