I was here 05/25/25, visiting this city for the first time and got to find this Gem. It was small but COZY. Very welcoming and attentive staff (Bartender especially) The door guy was nice too. Drinks were tasty & inexpensive. I did show up around 8:30ish, stayed till 11:30ish. By 11pm it was getting packed and the bartender was overwhelmed? She did great though! Payed $10 to see Forfiture and they did amazing. They had 3 live shows that night. Never heard of them before but...
Our band played this venue and we felt welcomed and appreciated. Mad Dog was a great advocate for the artists and the bar: reminding us to patronize each other’s merch stands and generally hyping everyone up. My bandmates really loved the bartender as well. Ben did excellent sound. It was a great Sunday stop for us and considering all the stress the community has been under due to the hurricane it was astounding the kindness we received. We went Monday night and had a great time. There was karaoke! The host was great, the bartenders were super helpful and friendly and the crowd had a really good vibe. Would definitely go back.
