Great lunch today with my son after a busy morning of soccer. Ordered a traditional pepperoni and sausage pizza to share. Fresh ingredients made this pizza excellent! Very friendly staff all helping each other. Great friendly atmosphere in here. The whole menu looked great. Will be back soon!

Heard about this place from a friend. It was a Friday evening so there was a 15-20 minute wait. While outside chatting with the locals time flew by. The hostess calls our name we were greeted with a smile as she lead us to our booth. As we were seating plates were brought to our table. The waitress came over asked what we wanted to drink. We finally decided on dinner that consisted of an antipasto salad with all the fixings, 16 inch pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. The slices were huge!! I could only eat one!! The crust was crispy and the bottom had a crunch. This was the best pizza I've had in a long time. So I've never been to NY and if this is how they do slices then I need a road trip!!

I had been watching pizza reviews for days and was craving a New York style pizza. I ordered the New Yorker, and it did not disappoint. Sweet tomato sauce with mozzarella and Asiago on a thin crust. I ordered the medium-sized pizza, which was plenty for two. Let's be honest, though. I ate the whole thing by myself.

Asheville is not a place one comes to get pizza. Most of it is average I must say.But not 828Best AVL slice hands down.I’m currently eating it and dancing.

Looked for a good pizza for my pizza loving child! Waitress was friendly and quick. Nice family restaurant with ample seating. The sauce tasted fresh and the dough was good.

Seated and served promptly, with unexpected bonus of what was advertised as half-price wine night. On the down side, we later discovered the bottle was first marked up nearly 150% from $14 retail to $32 (maybe trade practice, but little transparency) and what was described as eggplant parmesan was nothing more than multiple layers of tasteless breading buried in cheese and nearly meat-free bolognese sauce for an unspecified surcharge and some later indigestion for my trouble. We fared marginally better with the caesar, lasagna and garlic bread, but likely won't be returning.
Fantastic food! My new favorite pizza restaurant in Asheville. VERY BUSY but very worth a 30-40 minute wait.

We have picked up Pizza here three times. The first time we picked our own toppings. After that we stick with the monster pizza, medium sized (16 in.) so we can have leftovers. It’s always good with crust to die for and great sauce. True NY style from gas fired oven. Next time my wife asks me to pick up a pizza I gotta pick up something else while I’m there. I have a beer at the bar and the food is ready by the time I’m done.
