For a last minute Valentine's date, we decided to check out Ambrozia for dinner. It exceeded ALL of our expectations. If you're willing to venture off the beaten path in Asheville, then you should add this restaurant to your itinerary. The service was great and the meals were incredible! We finally made our way to Ambrozia for restaurant week and I'm so sad that it took us so long to come here. Oh man, what a great place! They have excellent craft cocktails and a wonderful wine and beer selection, to start. And the deviled eggs with bacon jam and chipotle sauce are to die for! Went one evening on a date with my wife. She made reservation but it looked like you may not really need them. The place is split into two main sections. One was loud and busy and the other seemed more relaxed. The server was nice and attentive. They brought out some bread in a hot cast iron skillet. It was hot and delicious.
