We always love coming here and strongly believe that the ingredients are some of the best. This place is definitely modeled after Kimball House - which is one of the greatest restaurants and bars I've ever been to. If you come to Asheville and dont stop here you arent doing Asheville correctly.
This is an elite cocktail bar on par with Jack Rose and Fraunces Tavern. If you’re ever in Asheville this is your living room and you’d be a fool not to stop here. The drinks are incredible and you can actually hear yourself think and talk.
I wanted an old fashioned interior where I could sit, read, and maybe sip an Old Fashioned. This was perfect. The employee who greeted me directed me to the perfect spot and the perfect cocktail — which turned out to be La Louisiane (as I recall). The non-alcoholic Tiger Kiss (if memory serves as well as the bartenders) was an unexpected but welcome second drink.
