We love this place. One of the best steaks in town. Sides are amazing and don’t even get me started on deserts. Staff is wonderful and sweet. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
I had an incredible dinner with my husband for my birthday on Friday night. We don’t often rave about a restaurant and BOTH of us absolutely loved everything about Proper. Service, food, decor, speed, lighting....5 stars keep it up!! By the way we ate early and will do this again.
If you haven’t been to Asheville Proper yet- next time you are making a reservation, this is the place to do it. EVERYTHING was prepared, cooked, and plated perfectly. And when I say everything, I mean we had over half of the small plates, duck, steak, multiple sides and sauces, and multiple desserts and cocktails. Not one thing wasn’t excellent. Awesome service as well. I’m kicking myself for not going sooner.
