Best described as a 'dive bar' with good tropical (some tiki) drinks. Enjoyed the 'Monkey's Fist'. The 'Mai Tai' had stronger mint and lime flavors than I've experienced at other tiki bars, but it was great!
The most excellent dive bar. Part tikki, part pirate, and part Beetlejuice themed. The bartender, Adam, was excellent. Nice, attentive, helpful. The steady stream of regulars were nice folks. A good selection of local craft beer as well as some good mixed drinks. Prices were great.
Had a great conversation with Bruce, a 91-year-old regular who was born and raised in nashville. Running into people like Bruce is just one of the reasons why dive bars are so awesome.

The drinks where good. VERY BUSY SPOT
They only had one person working in the entire place so it was a little behind... but drinks were worth it
Love all the old sailor decor, really neat vibe to it.
It's often a go to when I go to asheville
