AVL Cake Lady is PHENOMENAL!! We ordered the dragon cupcakes for my daughter’s 6th birthday party and it was a huge hit!! Not only was the presentation perfect, the taste and quality of those cupcakes was amazing!! Everyone loved them! We also ordered a dozen of the chocolate cupcakes to have on the side, and they were of course delicious too! We will only use AVL Cake lady going forward for all our sweet cravings!!

We have used AVL cake lady on two separate occasions.
The first was cupcakes for an Asheville music school celebration. They were gorgeous! So many wonderful flavors, and I wish I had taken more pictures of them.
The second occasion was for my birthday, and you can see many of the photos here. Beautiful cake with a fun custom topper!
She does great work, and the cakes were delicious as well as visually stunning. My only issue is that I’m not always sure when their opening hours are. I went by once and she was not there, but as a single person running the shop, I can understand that she also has other priorities!

A little shop off the beaten path. Had we not had a Facebook marketplace exchange I would have never known about this place. Walked in to get our purchase and the smell was amazing. Super nice lady that owns, bakes and runs this amazing little shop. When we are back in the area we will definitely visit again. We landed on the banana pudding and it did not disappoint in any way. Can't wait to go back and try some more amazing goodies. I highly suggest you visit this shop!!!

“Buttercream” tasting synthetic and like icing. Rude and dry customer service for literally no reason. Definitely not the experience you want to have when trying to make a day special.

Held a large birthday celebration with family while renting in Asheville. OUTSTANDING carrot cake with a cream cheesecake middle layer- it’s one of their crunch cake choices.
They worked with me through email messaging until I figured out how to order online. Got some gluten free cupcakes as well. Ready as promised and truly enjoyed by all age groups!

I’ve been seeing AVLCAKELADY everywhere and finally got to try it tonight. When I say it was amazing!!! Didn’t disappoint at all!!!! It was so moist and flavorful!!

What a birthday cake for our 4 yr. old grandson. AvlCakeLady nailed the decorations perfectly. The look on our grandsons face sad it all when he saw his cake. Once we cut into this cake, you could tell it was going to be moist. It was, and the taste was delicious. I will be placing my order soon for one of her Christmas holiday cakes. I've heard you have to order early. Enjoy and support this local business.
