this place is so great! they have so much amazing local art displayed & they have fun board games. everyone was really nice & the atmosphere was obviously all inclusive which is an important detail for me. decent prices & honestly the best espresso ive found in all of Asheville.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte with non-fat milk and it did not taste like vanilla at all. It had a nutty taste to it. Not sure if they put the wrong syrup or the wrong milk in it but it did not taste good at all to me. Service was good and friendly though. It did smell like cats though I guess that’s why it’s called battle cats. I won’t be going back next time i am in Asheville.

I adore this place to the bone. I’ve never had a bad experience here and it shows the moment you walk in. It’s a gorgeous store that supports artists with their things for sale. The owner and every barista are amazing people who offer to fix anything if you need it. Great for studying/drawing/reading. I don’t think I could go anywhere else!
