Honeslty very forgettable. We waited a good 5 mins before 1 of only 2 staff finally kinda made eye contact and said they would be with me in a minute. Then five more mins past before I could finally order. I have never seen someone work so slow in my life while the guy in the back area didn't seem to do much and there were 2 other costumers after us and he didn't come and help. We finally got our beignet 20+ mins later and they barely tasted like pastry. Without the powdered sugar and honey/cinnamon they would have been flavorless. I have had beignet before and they were amazing like little puffed funnel cakes not these.
Will say the atmosphere inside and outside was cute. Took 7 trips around the block to find parking so if you can fund parking drop someone off and after driving around 2-3 times your beignet should be ready. They were also waaaay over priced!

The food was great, large portions, good coffee. Took a while to get but worth the wait. Not much seating. Nice people.

Beignets were great! Churro was good and didn’t need a sauce for us. Shop inside is super small so FYI if it’s busy. The coffee and matcha were good flavor but way too sweet for our tastes. Service was good and you can watch them make it

Coffee was weak, beignets were like sponges that had soaked up all the oil. Waste of money.

So grateful to have beignets in AVL. Yeah, they are kinds pricey from what I am used to, but I am more than happy to be able to sit in the Grove Arcade and blow powdered sugar on my kids like I did as a kid.
I really wish they would open later. This would be a great after dinner dessert/coffee spot.

Great food, wonderful owner. Delicious pastries, wonderful coffee drinks, and generous sandwiches. The staff is hard working and so courteous. They make you feel like they know you. When providing my scrumptious beignets, the owner gave me a big, bright smile and a quick two thumbs up. :))

Best Beignets I have ever had. They were so soft, fresh, warm, and did I mention soft! Also a hint of sweet to the dough/batter. Very good. I also enjoyed the Special of the Day iced coffee, it was perfectly balanced. Highly recommend.

The beignets are otherworldly. Fresh, warm, fluffy, delicious. Definitely going to try the beignet sandwiches next time.

Phone did not eat first.

I’ve been desperately craving beignets for quite some time now and was so excited to find this NOLA based coffee shop in Asheville.
The navigation kind of got us a bit lost since but we eventually made our way to it.
It’s a small coffeehouse with limited staff. When we arrived they had to go get more dough so there was a bit of a delay. We got both got to iced lattes and two variations of beignets. The skinny finger sized ones and the classic squared. I loved that they served in traditionally in a brown paper bag and you kind of shake them up to get all the delicious powdered sugar on them. It was my friends first time trying them so I walked her through it because it can get messy quick lol while it did take a bit long for us to get our order, the two staff members were working hard to get us taken care of and at least give us the coffees first. Both lattes were great and we sat in a cozy corner to enjoy everything.
