Pretty delicious egg benny
Biscuit Head has acquired a lofty reputation since it opened its doors more than a decade ago, and it was only a matter of time before we ended up here to see if it lived up to the hype. One drawback to said reputation: it gets busy, and it gets loud. Best try to catch them during an off-peak hour and hope that you can snag an open table.
That caveat aside, the menu is great. You can keep it simple with a biscuit and your choice of topping, roll the dice with a biscuit sandwich, or step up and take on a gut-busting breakfast platter. There are also sweet dishes and a bar full of complimentary jams.
My wife and I went with the biscuit of the day (Korean fried chicken), a biscuit with mushroom gravy, fried green tomatoes, and a side of bacon. The biscuits were good, but if you get them in a sandwich, don’t expect the sandwich to hold together. No matter: forks exist for a reason. The Korean fried chicken included both Korean BBQ sauce and pimento cheese, an interesting fusion of Asian and Southern that somehow worked. The accompanying tots were crispy and addictive, and the mushroom gravy was creamy and rich. The fried green tomatoes were respectable but would have been better topped with pimento.
Ultimately, Biscuit Head did not disappoint. The biscuits weren’t the best I’ve ever had, but the food here was still satisfying.

An Asheville staple that I’ve been visiting for years. This place is amazing, no matter what you get. Food came out quickly. I love that they have a condiments bar with different jams and butters. Mostly indoor seating with a few tables in the back. You do have to pay for parking in their back lot unfortunately.

Hands down, these are some of the best biscuits I've ever had! They're large, fluffy, and incredibly soft on the inside. Biscuit Head is a must visit if you're in the area and craving a fun, lively breakfast spot. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. What truly impressed me was their wide variety of house made jams! They have jam stations where customers can mix and match, trying different flavors on their biscuits. I highly recommend the raspberry, peach rosemary, and mango chili jams; but they're all fantastic! I loved them so much that I bought a few bottles to take home.
The restaurant itself is spacious, with seating options for large groups or just a party of two. There's also a charming outdoor patio with picnic-style tables, perfect for a cool spring morning.

Unfortunately, we didn’t try Biscuits Heads until the second to last day of our trip. Delicious biscuits, tons of options to choose from. The Berry Bomb jam stole the show, had to get a jar to bring home with us. Fried green tomatoes were must try as well.

Excellent biscuits, but that jam bar!! Great service, tasty coffee, and grits that are to die for. Great West Asheville location, so save some time afterwards to walk off that breakfast by heading to some local shops.

Some of the best biscuits we have ever had and you can’t beat the jam bar, so many fun combinations. Prices were very reasonable and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their food.

Love the pork sausage gravy and biscuit! Definitely my favorite biscuits and gravy in Asheville. I come in all the time just to get an iced maple latte and it is amazing every time!

Biscuit Head is a restaurant where you must stand in line to order your food. You pick a table you then select a place to sit.
I was here this morning with a dear friend who has neuropathy in his legs and feet, and we asked for a medical accommodation for him to be able to sit while we waited in line to order our food.
My friend sat at a table and
Kelsey, a Biscuit Head staffer, approached him. Kelsey was unfriendly and uncaring and told him he could not occupy a table until he had ordered his food. We were a party of 4 and we had a plan to order my friend’s food for him and bring it to the table.
If you have any ADA requirements, I strongly recommend you do not go to biscuit head. Biscuit Head is deaf to the needs of people needing an accommodation.
Later, another biscuit had employee approached my friend and said that he could sit in the takeout order area until we had ordered our food.
Biscuit needs to do some customer care training with Kelsey.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not ADA friendly.

Biscuit Head does good biscuits and jam BUT their butter is always cold and basically makes the biscuits disintegrate! Such a bummer! If they did warm butter that would be a game changer!
Gotta say though, their OJ might be the best I’ve ever tasted. SO freakin good!

This was my first time visiting this place. I had a feeling from the moment I walked in that I was going to enjoy it. Everyone here is very courteous. The food is great. It's primarily a biscuit place and they have a jam bar 😋 they have signs on the wall stipulating everything is from farm to table. I'm still trying to figure out the cat association. Definitely recommend

Food was overrated IMO. Biscuits just fell apart. Not what you want to happen while eating your bacon egg & cheese biscuit. Way overpriced. Be prepared to wait a long time for food if you are hungry. Worth a visit but I'll stick to Bojangles.
