Went 2/14/25 terrible! I heard they changed owners a few weeks ago. Escargot was totally dried out and rubbery, a turkey sandwich that had a thin piece of turkey and all cheese with huge chunks of raw apples on the top of the bread, it was so weird. The staff had attitudes. Don’t waste your time here. Thumbs down all the way

Thank you so much for the lovely dinner! We loved it from the fresh bakery bread to chicken to the homemade ice cream!

Expensive, long wait, food was really good though. Service was slow but I think they just had a big party that night so we're tending to that mostly.

Ordered a steak dish medium rare and the herbed butter on top wouldn't melt...that's how rare it was. Also needed salt. Vegetables were fine, fries were the highlight. Disappointing.

Sat outside on the terrace with family from out of town. Justin, our server, was wonderful. His wine recommendations were spot on. We had the lobster ravioli, mussels and the pate plate for our apps. All great. I have to rave about the duck a l'orange. A full half duck, it was delicious. My wife had the chicken cordon Bleu, also was excellent. Great restaurant for a special occasion, but don't wait - just go! You will love it.

We’ve been to quite a few French restaurants including restaurants in France! This restaurant was super busy on a Saturday night and we came back on Sunday to eat there. The ambiance is cute and service was good. However, the food was quiet salty. We had to send the fries back bc there was sooo much salt on there. The steak was salty and the fish was also salty. That’s all I could really remember. I love French food and try to eat there when we’re on vacation, but this place was a bit disappointing.

Dinner and service were amazing! Sat at the bar with Justin, he was attentive and personable. Which made my experience even better! The fondue de raclette and the steak au poivre are musts. And you’d be crazy not to get the crème brûlée (recipe is from 1691, so you KNOW it’s good). Do yourself a favor and check out Bouchon if you’re in town!

Truly some of the best French food I’ve had outside of France! I feel like good French food is hard to come by down south. Every single thing we had from the wine to the dessert was amazing. The highlight of the meal was probably the escargot which was incredible!!! Our waitress was so sweet and had great recommendations. My friend and I sat upstairs and the ambiance was lovely. This was for sure a 10/10 experience and next time we are in Asheville we will come back!

This is the second time we ate at Bouchon and the first time was spectacular. This time not quite. My wife’s trout almondine was amazing but my chicken cordon blue was ok. The atmosphere is nice and the waitstaff professional. If you go get the trout.

Nice restaurant to eat and drink.
The card is terrific. Ichoosed to go with the local trout, which was well cooked and prepared.

The real bonus here is the wine selection ?

I think Bouchon is going to be a new favorite of mine. I was so excited to finally find a place that serves Boef Bourguignon. And, btw.. tastes incredible cold, with bread dipped in the sauce. Justin was an incredible server.

Excellent cocktail and the bifteck au poivre was ?? The mussels had a smooth but complex flavored butter sauce, and the assiette de trois fromages had a nice variety. The French onion soup was underwhelming, but overall still an excellent experience!
