Where to begin! I'll start with WOW! The staff: engaging, fun, knowledgeable of their menu! The food, culinary creations that pop, both visually, and tastefully! I would put 10 STARS if possible. Whether you live in Asheville or are passing through. You should INTEND on dropping in for a bite!

we ate here in Fall of 2023 for lunch but I still remember it like yesterday.. Forgot to leave a review. Cafe place has nice atmosphere and service was friendly. but food was NOT EDIBLE. Me and my fam ordered some pork bun baos here. It was overly Salted....so much we could not even eat it after many tries... they were $12 each and we alrdy ordered many... if u wanna eat pure salt, then come 😋

Continuously disappointed by how they update their portions and menu. Used to be able to get a really nice meal for a good price. Just got two tiny buns (used to be almost taco sized buns) for almost $15.... The lady at the counter threw in a cucumber salad because she agreed about it being overpriced for what it is. Used to love this place but it's a waste of money. Could have gone somewhere else

Food and staff were AMAZING when we visited Asheville!! Had my mother-in-law, who is from Thailand, try it and she thought it tasted like home.

Came here on a whim while exploring downtown, was not disappointed! Delicious food, kind staff, authentic. Will absolutely return!

Food was awful. Som thum papaya salad was salty with overwhelming amount of fish sauce. Both cheick and pork baos were subpar, the pork had way too much hoisin sauce to mask the flavorless meat. Shameful to call this Thai food.

In addition, had to wait over 20 mins for 2 baos and a papaya salad, while it was empty and only one other order before us. That's just atrocious.

If you want good, any food, this is not the place.

I got the Sattawa Skewers and my husband had the tofu and the pork boa. I forgot to get pictures, but it was soooo good! I also really enjoyed the peanut sauce!

Good food, just pricey for what you get

$12 for two buns. Total rip off. Go to an actual restaurant instead of this. Too bad too, because they were actually tasty.

Amazing little spot in the market hall. The Tofu vegetarian bun was seriously so good. The bun is a great texture and not overpowering to the rest of the ingredients. Tofu was excellently prepared and the sauce on the bun was not too sweet or tangy, just perfect. SO good.

Did this place get new owners? It used to be good. They changed the menu. Where are the curry rice bowls with veggies? Where’s that yummy soy sauce? What’s with the fried tofu dish? It’s a pile of fried tofu, nothing else. Weird. That homemade “vinegar” sauce is awful. Go back to the soy sauce. All I can figure is the owner changed or something.

Super spicy, super friendly, rad portion sizes, and some serious kitchen craft at work here. The bao was exceptional. My only advice would be to grab a smoothie, too, or a shake from the joint to the left, because, GOOD NIGHT, the meal was spicy! Kudos to Kyle and team for what they've pulled together here.

Amazing food, amazing service, very authentic, my favorite is the crispy tofu bites and the cucumber salad. All of the homemade sauces are amazing as well 10/10 recommend!
