Great place to have a date night with your spouse/significant other. The environment was peaceful. The service was great. They kept glasses full and periodically checking on you if you needed anything. Food came out fairly quick.

Tupelo honey has a wonderful salad with lemon vinaigrette and that's what I always order with roasted chicken. Everything on the menu is great. Wonderful spot for lunch with the girlfriends.

I have missed this restaurant!!! There was one in Atlanta and while we liked it...it was not the same. The one in Atlanta closed so when we came to Asheville we had to come here. The service and the food was so much better than I remembered!!! We got the chicken and waffle with the siracha on the side. The fried green tomatoes and the two eggs and potatoes breakfast. We were starving so no one took pictures.

Arrived at one o'clock, didn't get our lunch until two o'clock. When my friend asked for another lemon for his hot tea, the waiter pointed to the lemon on my plate and said he could use that one. Tupelo Honey used to be one of my favorite Asheville restaurants, but less than great experiences the last few visits and frequent menu changes are making me rethink that. Which I really hate saying.

This didn't feel like the traditional Tupelo Honey. The food was mediocre at best and our server was slow and ambivalent. Overall not a great experience and definitely would not return.

We were seated immediately. Service was just OK. There were two if us. Our order was smothered chicken- sides were potatoes and crispy Brussel sprouts and one of the quinoa bowls and a side of whole grain toast. Server was nice but she forgot to put in the order for the quinoa bowl. So when our order was brought out -- only my smothered chicken came out (with sides) and my companion's side of toast. Server came over after food was brought out and asked if we needed anything else and we were like "yeah, the whole other meal". She went back to the register and you could tell by her expression that she forgot to put in the order for the quinoa bowl. She came back and told us that the kitchen was "finishing up" the quinoa bowl, but what she really meant to say was that they were making it. So, needless to say we did not eat our meals together. I would have had more respect for someone to come and admit the mistake "hey, I forgot to put your order in but I have notified the kitchen and they are working on it as fast as possible." Instead of blaming it on the kitchen and saying they're almost done. And the person who delivered my smothered chicken had her thumbs all up on my chicken. Serving 101. - kinda gross. The Brussel sprouts and potatoes were a lot of bits and pieces. Mostly just fried strayed Brussel sprout leaves instead of whole/halved fried Brussels. Same with the potatoes. I also feel like because the kitchen was forced to hurry the quinoa bowl it was very lackluster. Some of the veggies were over charred. Not great. We don't cone here often but thought we would enjoy time together with someone else cooking and the experience was forgettable.

Jamie is amazing!! This chain as a whole gets 4/5 on value because they make really great potatoes and never give me enough. Also for the price I think the chicken pieces could be bigger. The meal just seems kind of incomplete with just one side and small chicken person for 20$ a person with a drink.

Tupelo Honey never disappoints! The food is always delish, well seasoned and tasty. We tried the blueberry basil and peach pineapple soda, which was refreshing. We are from Charleston so we know good shrimp and grits, and theirs is among the best. Way to go on providing fresh, delicious breakfast!

I was not impressed with the food. I mean, it was not bad, but it was also not really good. The server was obviously over worked, and had too many tables, to the point I refilled my own drink at the bar with the bar tender just cause she was too busy.

We had the filet and it was to die for!! We also had fried pickles which are our all time favorites. We were seated upon arriving and the food came quick. Even though it was busy the waitress never let us run out of drinks and delivered our food hot! It will always be one of our top 5 favorites!

Cold broccoli, twice. Po boy was Luke warm. Salad came out at the same time as the meal. Service was not great. Manager took $10 off for the broccoli but didn't even come to the table to apologize or find out everything that was happening even after we were told that they would. Disappointing night.

Tupelo honey has alluring decor, but the portions are small for the amount that you pay for the food. The food is delicious, but small portions. I also got a Christmas cocktail that was overpriced for a drink that consisted of mostly ice and served with no straw. This restaurant also does not offer bread service which was a little disappointing. Our server was great though, and we were sat immediately with our reservation. Overall good place to eat, just pricey for what you're receiving.

Food quality was sub par compared to previous visits. Wait between order and tabling was nearly 40 minutes on what appeared to be a slow evening. Service was so-so. Nearly all drinks were gone with no refills. Was a disappointing dinner overall.

We enjoyed a lunch with friends. The food was good and abundant. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Main course items are huge and can easily be split. The server was very busy with tables in different areas making it difficult to keep everything covered. We have been here numerous times and will return.

I am not a native of Asheville, but on my last visit I made it a point to go back to eat here! I had the exceptional meatloaf the last time, but had to try the mac ‘n cheese this time. Our server was a very friendly and efficient woman who just had a knack for timing. Everyone at the table got something different and everyone was happy. I'd never heard of smash burgers before, so now there's something new to try on my next visit!
