Me and my partner did a tasting with Ariana last night and it was phenomenal! She is so incredibly knowledgeable and personable!
Rude staffed, terrible service and drinks.
What a fantastic find! Great spirits with an original twist, used at the Antidote next door. Some great gins, whiskeys, and bitters.
Super cute decor. Fancy drinks
I’ve always had superior experiences here. I am not much into gin anymore (thanks to Mezcal and Tequila) but I will say the rosé gin at Chemist is perfect for a summer cocktail. If you love gin, stop here for a tasting and a bottle. You cannot go wrong. If you want a strong gin, go for the navy gin. ?
A must-visit for gin fans. Very unique selection of gin, my favorite was the Chocolate Orange gin liqueur. Cool atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff.
I tried to visit during normal business hours. I arrived to a sign that said “ closed - be back in 5 minutes” along with a closed sign on the window. 25 minutes both closed signs were still up. There were clearly people inside, perhaps a large party. I understand business my close due to private events or not allow new patrons when they are at capacity, but this needs to be communicated accordingly. A sign saying be back in 5 does not suffice.
Did a great tour and tasting with Nicole. It was interesting, informative and delicious!
Enjoyed our tasting experience - it’s pretty informal and free, choice of four. We are not normally gin fans but we really enjoyed them. We grabbed a bottle of the special edition Biltmore rose gin. The shop is really small and it felt a little crowded but they have some cool stuff.
I had the pleasure of visiting the distillery and throughly enjoyed the tasting. Ariana was very knowledgeable and made us feel like long time friends. Left with a few bottles and some bar stuff. The Founders Reserve is particularly good. Looking forward to our next visit.

It's an interesting experience but sometimes the employees can seem rushed & hurried & can appear on the rude side. One employee hinted strongly she "was there to make tips". We were put off but in general like going there when we are in Asheville
Enjoyed our tasting experience - it’s pretty informal and free (choice of 4) so between my wife and I, we got to try them all. The spirits feel carefully made - which I see as mostly a good thing. All of the things we tried were remarkably smooth - and I think anyone with any pallet could handle the line without any fear. We like liquor with more pop to it - the navy strength gin fit the bill and we grabbed a bottle of that to go. I really enjoyed the barrel rested gin too - a very unique tasting gin that has been on my mind for two days… I should have grabbed that too.The shop is really really small so more than 4 people in there is a crowd but they have some cool stuff and we will definitely be back the next time we visit. Thanks for taking care of us.
The cutest place and vibes. Drinks and customer service were both amazing! Favorite new spot in Asheville
