We came for breakfast and it was a nice spot for a quick bite surrounded by locals - friendly staff, good food, cozy atmosphere

City Bakery was a short walk from where we were staying, so it became our breakfast spot by default. Fortunately, it proved to be a good one. Bread may be their calling card, but they do have more substantial fare (biscuits, bagels, sandwiches, etc.) as well. We went with a pair of coffee drinks and a chocolate croissant as well as a loaf of Jewish rye to take home. Though they keep busy here, staff were pleasant and accommodating.

The coffee drinks were smooth, and when we eventually broke into the rye, it had a nice crust and made for an excellent sandwich bread. The croissant was thicker and less flaky than expected. It definitely wasn’t bad, but I’ve been spoiled by better options back home.

Whether you’re seeking bread, a breakfast bite, or caffeination to keep you going, City Bakery is a reliable option.

Fresh, local and fast. Delicious house-made breads and baked goods with local flare. We loved the scratch made cheddar scallion biscuits and farmhouse breakfast sandwich. Great seating indoors and some outdoor patio seating as well.

Parking: Parking lot adjacent to business.

Kid-friendliness: They have coloring sheets and crayons for kids!

Incredible bread - affordable breakfast downtown. There is a coworking table in the back that is perfect for posting up while you have a coffee! Always a fave

I love their quiche with potato crust and a bowl of fresh greens. Reasonably priced and very fresh. Hubs loves their cinnamon rolls. Very good coffee.

Omg. I never leave google reviews but this place is too good. Came a year ago the morning after the Billy strings concert and got the most SCRUMPTIOUS matcha known to man along with a lovely bagel with cream cheese. Had to come back this year after another Billy concert and was not disappointed by another scrumptious matcha and a biscuit with egg and cheddar. Had to get a chocolate croissant to go as well. It was really busy in there but service was still fast and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend (PLS try the matcha it’s so good)

This is just the best place for breakfast and coffee, as well as all your common and uncommon baked goods.

I’ve probably eaten here 100 times over the years, and if you do anything a 100 times there’s bound to be some disappointments. But I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food I receive, and if my order ever gets messed up they have always made it right.

The biscuits are the best around. I wake up early on Saturdays to grab some coffee and biscuit sandwiches to bring home and it wins points with my wife every time.
