Food Experience Catering put together a fantastic, custom menu for our brunch wedding reception in early April! It was a joy working with both Georgeanna and Chef Tony throughout the entire process. Communication with the team was excellent and the meal itself was so special. The catering staff at the wedding were also excellent. We also were able to have a tasting a couple of months prior to the wedding, and it was one of our favorite parts of the entire planning process! The menu was truly a collaborative process and our guests were raving about the food after the wedding.

Georgeanna made several planning visits to our house to determine the best way to set up the tables on our deck and the best space for Chef Tony and his crew to finish preparing and put out the food. She was very collaborative and friendly, and really listened to our ideas. As a result, everything went very smoothly from start to finish. The food - an Italian feast after our wedding ceremony - was absolutely top-notch, and everyone remarked on the quality of the dishes. My cousin, a very picky, retired career chef, almost made me fall out of my chair when he pronounced himself impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the cooking. The service around the dinner was very professional. We couldn’t have had a better experience with a caterer and highly recommend Food Experience.

My experience was nothing short of amazing!! I love the smoked food, I had the brisket sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had, also collards were great! The sauces are very unique and taste very good!! Compliments to the chef and staff!! Great establishment!! I will be eating more of their food!

Also loved their sauces, especially the cheerwine. The appetizers also good and they offer a wide variety to choose. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food that was served and had a lot leftover to enjoy the rest of the week. Definitely recommend a tasting if you are able to, so you have a better idea on what to serve. I think it helped us out a bit and you get to know the people that are in charge the day of. Very helpful and answered all of my questions and quick to respond. My boss just treated our branch to lunch and we got the pulled pork coleslaw calico beans macaroni and cheese. All of it was so very good. If you've ever been on the fence about stopping in and trying it, get off the fence and go get you some. Excellent work you guys!

They offer barbecue Wednesday-Saturday, 12-4. The pulled pork was good but I was really impressed with the brisket. The collards seemed perfect to me. Cooked well but maybe not for 18 hours like some folks prefer. The mac and cheese had a bit of a white NY cheddar bite to it. Probably the best barbecue this side of Asheville.
