Gemelli consistently has some of the best food in Asheville! They make their pastas and pizzas by hand, and the staff is always friendly and efficient! Their brunches and wine dinners are especially exceptional! Five stars!

We hosted a private event at Gemelli, and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The unlimited parking made arrival effortless, and the decor and atmosphere were both beautiful and inviting. The space felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable for our guests.
The waitstaff was phenomenal—attentive to every need without being intrusive, and genuinely kind throughout the evening. The food was Impeccable. Every dish was top-notch, paired perfectly with an excellent selection of wine and cocktails.
If you’re considering any venue in Asheville for a private event, look no further than Gemelli. The combination of outstanding food, exceptional service, and a stunning setting is truly unmatched. Highly recommend!

We were excited to try this spot out for a date night! We tried the fried artichokes with aioli. I ordered the Gemelli pasta and paired it with their sangria cocktail. The fresh pasta was delicious. My husband ordered the G burger and it was huge! He said that it was delicious. I tried one of his fries and the texture and flavor was phenomenal. The service was a bit meh. We were finished eating for a while and my husband had to get the attention of the hostess who found our waiter for us.
Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly. Our child would not care for this place because there are no kid dishes. We were trying to enjoy a kid free night out and someone's kids were running around near our table.

Love love LOVE Gemelli! They have SO MANY gluten free, vegan options!! Even GF chicken parmesan! Are you kidding me!??? Oh and my friend died and went to Canolli heaven! GET THE CANOLLI! This restaurant is hidden away in the West Asheville shopping plaza next to Earthfare (Westgate) so it's not right downtown (although it could hold its own downtown)
I highly recommend this chill airy laid back bright and shiny spot! It is the perfect place to bring visiting friends and family for brunch, late lunch whatever. Oh and they have a beautiful full bar!!

I came here for my birthday dinner on Monday night, and I have mixed feelings. The gentleman that sat us was incredible. Super nice guy. The atmosphere is lovely. I reserved a couch table and it was such an awesome setting. Our waitress was nice enough, but just didn’t really go the extra mile. Like we heard other people get offered Parmesan and red pepper shakers for the table, and we weren’t offered that. We also felt her personality was just kind of flat, and we were kind of put off by it. As for the food, it is OK, but I don’t know if I’d pay those prices again for what we got. We thought it was odd there wasn’t complimentary bread with your meal, and it was paid bread service as well. I will say though that they have the best cannoli and affogato I’ve ever had.

This place has the coolest vibe. But the food leaves a lot to be desired. Bland small portions, overpriced for the portion size and poor taste. Food (meat & pasta) quality seems to be great, except for the veggies. I wouldn't pick this in a grocery store. Salads are better at the chinese buffet, lol. Also, where else do you spend $40 on a meal (before drinks and appetizer) and bread isn't included, at an Italian restaurant at that?!
This might be a great tapas bar. But not really a good restaurant per se. Maybe I misunderstood the referral and the 5* google review. There's no way. Also, the staff seemed clueless. Couldn't answer any menu questions and kept returning to correct misinfo or obtain info he should've asked when ordering. I don't think he was new, just sort of quirky. Anyway, get a new chef (or a cookbook), and this place would rock!

Waited over an hour for food. No one noticed or said Anything When brought to the managers attention she came up with a time period for delay that was just outside the hour we waited. Obviously creative rule making. No attempt was made to make up for terrible service. And to add insult there was a "kitchen appreciation fee" on the bill. They clearly didn't care about the customer. Totally obtuse. It will be our one and only visit
