A last minute stop on our trip to Asheville! A former colleague recommended Green Man as her favorite brewery, so we made a quick stop on a Saturday afternoon during our visit. The space has a good vibe - more sports bar-like as compared to other breweries, but lots of open space and modern vibes as well. Once we arrived, we were a touch confused on how to order. There were 2 bars, but apparently one was for cans only and one was for drafts only - although this was not clear at all, nor was it clear which beers were available on draft vs cans. No big deal, we ultimately figured it out and chose our beers! Their was a private party on the rooftop (a great spot for a party!), so we unfortunately didn't get to make it up, but no big deal. The space is massive, so we still had our choice of sitting outside or on the ground floor. We snagged a table outside and enjoyed our beers alongside their wonderful music selection (my husband spot very highly of it). I can't remember which specific beers we opted for, but we enjoyed them well enough, although not enough to explore purchasing any to go. Overall, Green Man was a nice, convenient stop on our Asheville trip. I would recommend for anyone traveling with a group or anyone looking for a great music selection and a solid beer!

Attended a wedding reception here over the weekend on the 3rd floor. The place was hopping! When I approached the bar I was greeted quickly and with a smile. I ordered the pilsner which was the lightest beer they had. Even though it was a light beer it still had a bit of happiness to it. We were there about 3 hrs and everyone in our party and their normal customers were all having a blast.

We went here on a beer tour with Damn Good Beer Bus (a must try) and the beer was excellent! I especially enjoyed the sour and a Pilsner! The atmosphere was very fun and the service was great

We only had one beer here, but enjoyed it. The covered outdoor area on the 3rd floor was delightful, with a lovely breeze. Pet friendly. Make sure and check out the bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Pretty funny.

I love the beer here! So good! Plus their aesthetic speaks to me (I have a green man tattoo)! So I obviously had to get myself a flight and a shirt. In addition, my friends got the root beer and a root beer float which they all stated was "amazing."

Our 3rd meal here (6th attempt, they were closed a lot) and not a good one. First 2 where excellent - great fish, brought quickly and blisteringly hot. This time? Everything had obviously sat while they waited for a later couple's food to be made, so they didn't need to walk to the Rooftop Deck twice. A bad decision with fish and chips.If you're here for the beer, what the heck, give it a try. For us, the beer was secondary. We're local, and had really loved our first 2 visits, once they started with food. After this one? Never again.

We enjoyed a round of beers upstairs at Green Man. Cool place & there is a covered outdoor patio. I had a nice IPA, although I can't recall what it was. If you check in on Yelp you can get a free Green Man logo sticker!

We enjoyed this brewery and it'a bay-door and dive set-up so much on our tour with BREW-ED Tours today! We had three samplers today and loved seeing a local legend!

Very good beers. Several Greenman IPAs to try. I'm enjoying their Hefeweizen. Very good . Service is very good but parking is on the street. Happy hunting for anything free and there are meters for $1.50 /hr.

This is a great place to hang out. There's so much space upstairs and the outdoor portion on the second floor is so nice. I loved having a drink with my friends here. There's a great selection of beer and they offer food as well.

Well- I normally write good reviews but sadly this is a not impressive review. Greeted downstairs and we asked if could order food. She was very short worded and said "use the QR code and food is upstairs. Beer can only be served down here". Must order food via QR code and hope your food arrives. A Plus! Salad and garlic wings were good. I had the Trickster after I tasted from monotone female and male downstairs. Do you want to be there? Once ordered food via QR code food arrived within 10 min although said 35min. Probably because no one else was here.
