A letdown. This place is cute. You order and sit and they bring the food. They have organic coffee, which I was grateful for. I ordered the Vangoh Burrito because I am vegan. They did have other vegan options, many that include the tofu scramble. My husband ordered a regular Breakfast Burrito. The beans in the burritos were cold. It all lacked flavor. The spinach was stringy. I ended up picking out the potatoes with a fork. I stopped eating after a while because it wasn't worth it. They add a 10% fee to every order for the back of the house and that does not include the tip for the person that brings out the food. Come here for coffee and maybe try a smoothie??

We ordered specialty items and needed non-dairy AND sugar-free and Green Sage delivered with flying colors! Sonya B and the other woman making the drinks delivered us salvation in a cup! Hot, fast and very, very tasty!Dietary restrictions: non-dairy milk available

My husband and I ate breakfast here. I got the avocado toast. The avocado was fresh. My husband got one of the skillets, I can't recall which. He said it lacked flavor, but was fine with added salt. However, the entire meal was a done deal upon finding a strand of hair in his food. Needless to say, he didn't continue eating it. The staff was great at handling the issue right away, so kudos to them.

Stopped in to get a smoothie as I'd seen some good reviews for it online. My cold-pressed elderberry juice was fantastic! The Love Potion smoothie was okay, it didn't have much flavor to it despite it having several different fruits in it. I also felt the pricing was a bit steep. Still worth a try, though!

Understanding that I am green, love organic / tasty / healthy, and great service - this place checked all my boxes. Organic breakfast and lunch eatery with awesome bowl food and smoothies. Other sandwiches and burgers as well. The place ran like a well oiled machine and they had everything reusable or compostable. Even and place to dump your food only to compost. Love love love and went there 2x

Everything was oily but surprisingly didn’t have much flavor. They have a lot of mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, pepper and salt to help this though. The atmosphere and food reminded me of a Panera and $15 for the very small sandwich was a bit expensive. In the end, a good place for a simple lunch and good menu options.

Green Sage Cafe was an absolute delight! From start to end, this little establishment had me considering moving to Ashville. Upon entering the cafe, you are greeted from customer not wanting to hold up the line to the staff at the counter. There are tons of options for vegans to vegetarian to meat eaters. The pricing is reasonable. If you're eating for 2, it can definitely get costly. There is a 10% service fee. There are signs explaining why. Honestly, I can't remember, but it doesn't bother me much. The service definitely makes up for that. I ordered the Avo Lox with an egg. It was by far the most delicious breakfast sandwich I've had in a while from a restaurant. My partner got the Woodstock and loved it. The cafe itself was cozy, hippy a bit, and comforting. Considering everything downtown is in walking distance. It's in a good location. All in all, if you're near here or can get their delicious meal delivered to you, do it! It's worth every penny.
