The food was delicious! The labneh was super creamy, and the hummus bowl with the half and half brussels and cauliflower was excellent. Even my brother who usually hates cauliflower couldn't stop eating it. Then the knafeh was a perfect way to top it off - crunchy and cheesy and sweet.

The service was great, and the atmosphere was cozy and homey. Prices were very reasonable for the quantity and quality.

Gypsy Queen is one of those places that makes you feel like you're part of the family. The food is made with love and it's always incredible. You can't go wrong on the menu. It's the crew that makes the magic. Alexandra is one of the kindest, most authentic humans you'll ever meet. She remembers her customers and their orders and she treats everyone with warmth and kindness. Today, she went out of her way to brighten my day, and it means more than she knows.

If you want AMAZING food, made by AMAZING humans, this is it. We are so lucky to have Gypsy Queen in our town!

The food is great! The space is a bit small and they were packed when we got there so we got our food to go.

I loved my experience at Gypsy Queen! The staff is so friendly and helpful at suggesting items off of their menu. I am visiting from out of town and had a fantastic pita wrap, the Yum Yum. I also got a chocolate truffle which was delicious as well. Definitely recommend if you are craving delicious Mediterranean food in Ashville!

A gem! Incredibly delicious homemade Lebanese food in a super charming cafe. It was hands down the best food that we had while visiting Asheville—and all the better because it is run by one of the kindest people we met there. Thank you so much, Suzy!

(And don’t miss out the hibiscus iced tea! šŸ˜)

I have eaten quite a few times here already, but the last 2 times my husband and i got sick after eating their food. The first time happened and I thought it was a one time thing but today we both got sick again. The food taste good but something is not right, maybe the oil? We are not going back, sadly.

An incredible find was this exceptional restaurant for lunch. We had the hummus bowls with shawarma chicken, hibiscus tea, eggplant pockets and best baklava I have ever had. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would! The owner, Suzy, was more than friendly and delightful!! I highly recommend for anyone that loves healthy really delicious food! I hope to return frequently!

I used to live in a city that is well known for shawarma, and Gypsy Queen would rank with the best! Not to mention they are so much more than shawarma - every dish I’ve had is delicious (I really enjoy the rice lentil bowl with Brussels' and cauli). It’s a real treat to have a taste of home in Asheville. If you’re craving Lebanese and middle eastern cuisine, this is the BEST hands down!

I’ve been eating Middle Eastern food since 1972. We’ve been on a month long trip… today was our day to end up in Asheville, NC. Our AIRBNB had a listing of places to eat and we picked Gypsy Queen cuisine. Sat outside under the front outside cover… beautiful late afternoon. We made our food choices and I ordered inside at the front counter. My wife had the Crispy Beet Salad (GF)… I started with Labne with Olives… and added a Fattoush Salad (vegan) with Grilled Lamb Kafta. Both were beautiful to the eye and delicious to the palate! Wife & I raved with delight over almost every bite! This place should be on your list!
