I used to love the spinach pies from here but they are very inconsistent. Today I got a burnt spinach pie that had barely any filling and no side sauce like I usually get. They wanted .50c for sauce now on top of the $6.50 already price.. very disappointed

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the rice bowl, a masterful blend of flavors that felt like a symphony in my mouth, each spoonful better than the last. The spices were perfectly balanced, the rice cooked to fluffy perfection, and the accompanying ingredients fresh and vibrant. But it was the Yum Yum Wrap that truly sent my taste buds into a celestial overdrive. Every bite of this wrap was a revelation, with the tender, juicy fillings wrapped in a soft, freshly baked bread that melted in my mouth. The harmonious blend of sauces added a delightful kick, elevating the wrap to a level of its own.

[A Vegetarian & An Omnivore, Eating Out Together]We love Mediterranean food and Gypsy Queen does not disappoint! They get 5 stars for the variety of vegan and vegetarian options alone. But there is a lot for the omnivore to love as well. The best thing about the location is the outdoor seating where you can enjoy your food and conversation al fresco but under a deep awning. Ordering is counter-service style but your meal will be delivered to your table. The vegan and vegetarian options are so delicious omnivores don't miss meat when dining here, although there are plenty of options for meat entrees. Favorite dishes at Gypsy Queen include the Crispy Beet Salad, all the Shawarmas and Kaftas, along with the Swiss Chard and Lentil Soup. No review of Gypsy Queen would be complete without a shout-out to the folks working the counter who are unfailingly cheerful and polite. It's also a bonus that the storefront includes a small Mediterranean market where you can pick up some ingredients for dining at home. If you haven't been yet, please put this little gem on your "must try" list.

The food was good but it took a very long time to come out and it wasn't busy. The bread that my wrap came out in was good but I got so much bread and not much chicken I was a little disappointed. That being said they have inexpensive candies for the kids for dessert and kids meals that were affordable.

Falafel is phenomenal. Texture is fantastic and not dry at all. Baba ganoush was tasty and a good product. Beef shawarma is well above average too. Only thing I had the they can work on is the tabbouli. It’s a bit bland but it tastes fresh. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food but the overall experience is very positive.

Vegan options abound!! There's soy free, nut free protein options like falafel as well as lamb and chicken seitan. Also MUST TRY a slice of their rotating cake from Backporch Baking. All of their food is made with love, you really can't go wrong.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian options are all well labeled and make up about half the menu.Dietary restrictions: Most of the items are nut free. Never have had an issue with cross contamination.
