I work in downtown Asheville so I frequent a lot of coffee shops here, and I have to say High Five at this location has the longest wait times and rudest customer service in my multiple experiences. If you want atmosphere, I’d go to trade and lore. The baristas at Izzy’s are way friendlier though it has less seating.I thought maybe one or two times it’s understandable to have lackluster service but my co workers and I agree it’s consistently a bad experience here. The most recent time, I was scolded for just grabbing a pen.

Amazing coffee, unique specialty selections along with delicious breakfast options. Including a vegan creamer cheese/pimento cheese. Offers alt. Milks. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very clean. It is also a victim of its success with sometimes it being so busy there is little space to sit and crowding to move around. High five is the real deal!My favorite has been, "The Storm" double espresso, hot with oatmilk and a kick of Cayenne.Vegetarian options: Vegan cream cheese/ pimento spreadOat milk optionsCroissants, bagels.

Loved this place and they make Matcha the right way! Not some sugary powder mix. They have the real thing super friendly staff! Cute little spot I am so happy I found for when I am in Asheville for work.

Tasty pastry! Highly recommend the ham & cheese croissant. My kids loved the blueberry muffins and chocolate croissants. The staff was super attentive and welcoming.

Good spot in Asheville, wouldn’t go as far as to call it greatI got the drip coffee, which was nice. My wife got the dirty chai which she did not care for.Atmosphere was a bit of a miss due to dirty tables and sticky floors.I’ll have to try a couple other spots before going back.

Cute café tucked away right in the middle of downtown. We came in towards the tail end of the day. Service was fine nothing to write home about, dirty chai was pleasantly un-sweetened allowing the natural flavors to shine. Hot chocolate was nice, felt like a dark chocolate and was very creamy. Nice music choice, very 90’s -punk rock post grunge vibe. Inclusive restrooms were a nice touch albeit there’s only one. Very limited parallel street parking right in front but there are surrounding parking lots. It’s downtown so expect to pay to park wherever you are. Overall nice experience.

Quick stop for coffee. This is one of the best lattes I've ever had. We got the cesspool of cinnamon and the flavor is amazing. Perfectly steamed milk, house made caramel, and pretty latte art on top. Balanced ❤️ Love the cozy atmosphere. They have food options too. I love the options for boiled eggs and quick protein.
